When KIA k3 engine is cold, cooling water/antifreeze should be added between the F (full) and L (low) marks on the side of the auxiliary water tank. Remove the water pipe, drain the water from the sewer pipe beside the water tank, and blow at the expansion water tank to make the water flow as clean as possible. Water drops fall behind, install sewer pipes and add antifreeze. Remember to exhaust the vehicle after adding antifreeze.
Specific steps for replacing antifreeze:
1. Before the antifreeze is completely replaced, it is necessary to make a comprehensive inspection to see if there are traces of leakage and cracks in each pipeline. The key point is to check the five-way water pipe, which is named after the five interfaces connecting all parts. After the antifreeze flows through the five-way pipe, it is distributed to different parts of the car to play a role. If there is antifreeze leakage in this part, replace the water pipe or re-fix the interface according to the situation.
2. Drain the old antifreeze, and then clean the liquid channel with clear water. Add clear water to the antifreeze replenishment tank, then inject clear water into the tank to make the clear water continuously flow through the engine cooling system, and then idle for 3 to 5 minutes to circulate water. The water in the pitcher is a little pink at first. Continue to inject clean water until the water becomes clean. Be careful not to forget to remove the heating water pipe and clean the water in the heating water tank.
3. After draining about 1 hour, add new antifreeze from the water pipe of the water tank (radiator), which is the way to make antifreeze flow into the water tank quickly. Then add a bucket of antifreeze to the antifreeze tank until the antifreeze tank is almost full, and keep running for about 10 minute. At this time, the liquid level of the cooling system drops due to the exclusion of some air, and then antifreeze is added to the oil tank until it is filled with the highest mark "MAXT".
