Why is Ruihetu unlucky?

In Chinese traditional culture, cranes generally represent longevity and are auspicious symbols, so many artifacts have the shadow of cranes. Then, in Feng Shui, why is Ruihetu unlucky? What's the story? Next, let's take a look!

Where does Ruihetu come from?

When Song Huizong was in office, he founded the institutional painting school composed of court painters, which was in the opposite trench with the folk literati painting school. Since it is a painting school composed of court painters, the works in it are all about the court, and the "Ruihetu" also comes from this.

What does Rui Hetu depict?

"Ruihetu" depicts the spectacle that clouds suddenly floated over Bianjing, the capital of the Northern Song Dynasty, and a group of cranes were reluctant to leave over the palace for a long time. In the palace, two cranes landed on two tall kisses around the palace, which attracted people in the palace to stop and watch. Seeing this scene, I was very excited, thinking that Xiangyun accompanied the crane to Bianjing to tell Rui. So in this situation, he painted everything he saw on the silk element and mentioned a poem as a souvenir.

This crane picture was painted on silk with 65,438+08 cranes. Few two cranes in this picture have the same posture. 18 cranes are basically symmetrically distributed on the screen, hovering in the blue sky, forming a beautiful crane-telling scene. Because the white crane is a fairy bird and a fairy mountain in Taoism, representing longevity and auspiciousness, people usually think that this painting is a record of the auspicious scene of Taoist emperor Song Huizong and a long-term wish for the country.

What is the moral of Ruihetu?

The second year of Zheng He was 12 years when Song Huizong proclaimed himself emperor. In ancient times, 12 was a year, and "Four Years in Mandarin" said that "one year's storage can be far away", which means that after 12 years, you can travel far. Here, Song Huizong not only regrets the sages endowed by God to the Great Song Dynasty and their contribution to the world, but also looks forward to continuing to recruit sages and creating greater glories.

The postscript of the monk's reply after Ruihetu also mentioned the sentence "It's a pity to write Qingtian". As you can see, Song Huizong is suggesting here that this group of cranes flying late in Xiao Qing is not a kind, but a "clear sky". It must be extraordinary for the court to select civil servants and hermits to be officials. Song Huizong used this allusion to illustrate that the truly auspicious thing is the virtuous minister, who he regarded as the greatest auspicious gift given by God.

Why is Ruihetu unlucky?

History is always regrettable. No matter how many cranes come to tell Rui, it can't be cured. The demise of the Northern Song Dynasty was due to Tong Guan's defeat to the Hui Zong Dynasty. After Song Huizong was kidnapped by the nomads from the army, he was dubbed "the Duke of Faithfulness", and Song Huizong was humiliated. When people talk about Ruihetu again, there is a saying that the crane looks auspicious, but in fact it hides the mysterious fate of Song Huizong and the Northern Song Dynasty. Therefore, Ruihetu is also regarded as an ominous sign.
