Many kinds of places near mountains and rivers pick green leaves every spring. People used to call the tea picked three days before Qingming Festival "tea before Ming Dynasty". Longjing tea buds are tender as lotus plumule, with sharp shoots, longer buds than leaves, light green color and no fuzz on the body surface. In history, the West Lake Longjing is divided into five categories according to the origin: lion, dragon, cloud, tiger and plum, among which the lion peak Longjing is the best and has the reputation of "the top of Longjing".
