The third feng shui city is Wenzhou, with mountains like Beidou and cities like locks. Wenzhou was designed by Guo Pu, the first person to write a funeral book in China. During the Jin Dynasty, it was difficult to visit Wenzhou, and at the invitation of Wenzhou, it was established as the capital of Wenzhou. According to the geographical features of Wenzhou, it generally faces south, and the sun can shine in the south. There are Oujiang and nanxi river in Wenzhou. When he was building, he not only considered geomantic omen, but also considered the actual geological situation. Because the soil on the north shore of Wenzhou is soft, washed by wind and sand, and the foundation is unstable, he built the whole city in the south. Wenzhou is actually a north-south city. Wenzhou City is designed according to all the mountains around Wenzhou, and the surrounding mountains are just in the shape of the Big Dipper. In memory of him, there is a Saigon Mountain in Wenzhou, which was later changed to Guogong Mountain. He not only built the city, but also built 64 springs, 5 pools, 5 colors and 5 waters and adjusted the structure of the city. Wenzhou is relatively closed and built on the mountain. It is said that this can not only have good feng shui, but also avoid war disasters. Sure enough, there were two catastrophes, the first was (Lang Fang Uprising), but Wenzhou was besieged for 46 days, and finally withdrew. During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, Wenzhou, as a bridgehead and base area, survived the Japanese invasion, siege and land plunder. Wenzhou avoided war. Today, there are not many 64 springs, but 5 pools are still there.
Sandao Shuikou Dasuojiang Hengyang
The fourth feng shui city is Hengyang. Because of Shan Zhinan, the north of the water is "Yang", hence the name.
Yang Junsong, a master of geomantic omen in Tang Dynasty, passed by Hengyang and was attracted by the geomantic situation here. He stayed here for several days and praised the excellent geomantic pattern here. The geomantic omen of Hengyang was recorded in the Annals of Hengzhou compiled during the Qianlong period. The general idea is that the town mountain in Hengyang City is Nanyue Mountain, which winds southward, forming Goulou Peak, reaching Anther Mountain and Yan Hui Peak, thus forming county governance. Yan Hui Peak is beside her, and there is a band of Xiangjiang River in front of her. Dongzhou Island emerges in front of the river, distilled water flows into Xiangjiang River from west to east in the north, and then thunder water flows into Xiangjiang River from east to west in the north. Shigu Mountain lies on the left and looks like a crescent moon across the bank. The scenery here is beautiful, and it is indeed a good place with beautiful scenery. Xiangjiang river, thunder water and steamed water meet in Hengyang central city, so there are three locks on the river. At the intersection of the three rivers, there is a stone drum mountain, and a tower named Yanta is built opposite the stone drum mountain. In fact, there was such a process in ancient geomantic omen. The first one was looking for dragons, the second one was acupuncturing, the third one was testing sand, the fourth one was asking about water, and the fifth one was phase cutting. It is divided into five directions, that is to say, if we find Long Mai according to the whole city, we must lock it after finding this hole, which is the lifeblood of the city. That is to say, some pagodas and buildings will be built at the position of Shuikou, and some very special things will be made to lock them up. Hengyang is special. The three pagodas (Laiyan Pagoda, Zhuhui Pagoda and Jielong Tower Pagoda) lock the three river eyes of Hengyang respectively, so Hengyang has become one of the most famous feng shui cities in China.
