The blower is driven by electricity, which is not affected by the engine speed. Even if the engine speed is very low, it can still be used for heating and defrosting. See figure 16-4 for the air outlet mode. [top]
2. Control panel of heating fan
1. Water valve knob (hot and cold knob)
Adjust the hot water flow in the water valve by adjusting the angle of the knob of the water valve, and adjust it as needed.
2. Defrost and ventilation knob
By adjusting the knob, different air outlet effects can be obtained, and defrosting, side defrosting, central ventilation and floor ventilation can be realized.
3. Internal and external circulation switch (actuator switch)
The function of this switch is that when this switch is pressed, the baffle of internal and external circulation will be opened under the action of electricity, and then the airflow inside and outside the car can be exchanged.
4. Wind speed switch
It can be used to control air flow. It has OFF gear, I gear, II gear and III gear * * *, which are adjusted in turn, and the air volume will change from small to large.
5. Air conditioning switch
This switch is used to control the air conditioner. [top]
3. Maintenance of heater failure
See table 16-3 for the failure phenomena and causes of the heating device.

Four. Heating device control circuit diagram
Figure 16-5 shows the control circuit diagram of the heating device. Turn the wind speed switch to the working position, and turn the water valve knob to the red area. At this time, the air blown by the heater is hot air, which can be used for heating and defrosting according to different requirements. If you need to increase the air volume, you can adjust the gear of the wind speed switch in turn to increase the air volume.
For indoor and outdoor ventilation, turn the knob of the water valve to the right end, and press the switch of the actuator to open the baffle of the external control box, so that outdoor fresh air can enter the room for indoor ventilation. [top]
5. Remove the heating fan
1. Fan resistance
The fan resistor is installed on the driver side of the heater box.
(1) Remove the driver's defrosting pipe.
(2) Disconnect the resistor terminal.
(3) Unscrew the bolts.
(4) Remove the fan resistor.
2. Warm air engine
(1) Disconnect the battery terminal.
(2) Remove the driver's defrosting pipe.
(3) Disconnect the motor from the resistor terminal.
(4) Unscrew the bolts.
(5) Remove the motor fan assembly. [top]

1. Fan resistance
(1) The fan resistor is installed on the driver's side of the heater box. Unscrew the screw shown in figure 16-6 and remove the fan resistor.
(2) Measure the resistance between any two lugs. If the measured value does not conform to the value given in Table 16-4, the fan resistor must be replaced.
Note: Do not use wires or resistors whose resistance specifications do not meet the requirements. Be sure to replace it with a resistor of the same specification.

2. Wind speed switch
Remove the heater control panel and check the continuity of the wind speed switch (see figure 16-7).
3. Warm air hose
Check whether the hose connection is reliable, and replace it in time when the hose is aging or broken.
