Zeng Shiqiang talked about the Book of Changes, some of which I still don’t understand

What Zeng Shiqiang said was very rich. Sometimes I think about how good his lectures are, and you can understand them as soon as you listen to them. But I couldn't understand some of the words. They were similar to what Nan Huaijin said. The lecture was full of confidence. Unfortunately, I just couldn't understand it. It felt a bit arbitrary, but I didn't have the ability to judge right from wrong, so I sometimes turned it over and looked at it.

The first type of understanding is very clear

Tai Chi is the total source of everything.

"It is big and has no outside, and its small has no inside." This thing is called "Tai Chi". (The word "太" in "dian" means "small").

Yin and Yang are the most basic elements that make up everything in the universe.

Yin is yang, yang is yin, yin can become yang, and yang can become yin.

Easy has three meanings, namely easy, easy to change, and difficult to change. Change is just a phenomenon, behind the change there must be something unchanged. The biggest test in life is now (because the past will not change and the future is unpredictable).

0 and 1 constitute a vast and infinite interconnected network, and one yin and one yang produce all phenomena in the universe.

Fuxi Bagua tells humans the status of the universe and lets humans know how to adapt and improve. ‘

True and false, false and false, false and true, are also yin and yang.

What the I Ching gives us is not knowledge, but ideas.

The Book of Changes explains the principles of life through all phenomena in the universe.

The Book of Changes is originally some principles extracted from nature.

The Book of Changes has four major functions: image, number, reason, and accountancy.

As long as we do not forget the principles of the I Ching, even if we are unlucky again one day, we will still get up.

Our knowledge is developed after a comprehensive understanding. I don’t think they (Westerners) are trying to integrate it bit by bit, and it is still incomplete.

Curvature is a necessary process to become straight.

The truth is straight, but the road is always crooked.

Confucius’ ideal is world unity, and the Book of Changes is the wings of the ideal.

Benevolence is the core thing, and everything in the world has benevolence. (The word "Ren" means Yang next to the single person, and Yin with the two horizontal lines on the right). In the universe, nothing dominates except nature. Good luck means going with nature; bad luck means going against nature.

There is no good or bad in the Book of Changes. Good will become bad and bad will become good. This means that good is bad and bad is good. Because there are bad elements in good things, which can happen at any time; there are also many good elements in bad things, and they will turn over at any time and replace all the bad elements.

The second category is very clear, but I don’t know how to summarize it.

The Book of Changes talks about unity, and all divisions are for unity.

Yang represents the ideal of life, while Yin means down-to-earth pursuit of the ideal.

The Book of Changes tells us how to use money, in eight words - use it when you don't need it, and save it when you don't use it.

Everyone should take full responsibility for what they do.

Motivation is more important than results, and process is more important than results.

God uses money and wealth to test each of us. Money is a tool, not a purpose.

Making money does not depend on ability. Making money actually depends on opportunities, but using money depends on wisdom. So before a person wants to make money, it is best to learn how to spend money.

Each of us must do his best and take what he deserves.

Resting is for taking a longer walk.

Without contradictions, there will be no change, and without change, there will be no development. What can stand the test of time is called wisdom.

The third category does not understand and does not understand how to summarize it.

The most difficult thing in life is to know where your portion is. The Book of Changes tells us where your portion is.

So there are three types of people: one kind of people thinks that good or bad luck is determined by fate, which is the worst; one type of people thinks that good or bad luck is determined by oneself, which is not bad; one type of people thinks that there is no good or bad luck at all. , when doing anything, just ask whether it should be done. If it should be done, even death would be pleasant.

Why did our ancestors just read those few books throughout their lives and understand everything? We read too many books now, but in the end we still can’t understand them. This is because we are reading Western things instead of reading our own Chinese things.

No matter what you believe in, just believe it to a certain extent. Believing too much is superstitious. The purpose of divination is not to tell you the result, but to give you another reference.

We must use the laws of nature to regulate modern science and let it help us humans live a happy life.

Everything that is in line with nature is correct, and anything that is unnatural will be wrong sooner or later. (Everything is judged by nature.)

Everything must be done in moderation and don’t expect too much.

When the time has come, you must make a decisive decision; when the time has not come, staying on call is the reasonable response. (Don’t think that procrastination is bad. Real procrastination is pushing back and forth to the most suitable person.)

The meaning of the three hexagrams is to do something for mankind between heaven and earth. Clear positioning. (King Wu of Zhou said that man is the spirit of all things.)

The unchanging constant behind the changes is the law of nature. Tai Chi means that something changes and something remains unchanged. Change and immutability coexist at the same time, there is change within change, and there is change within unchangeability. Only by changing from an unchanging standpoint can we avoid random changes. (Talents who are round on the outside and square on the inside are valuable. Those who can compromise but cannot give up their position are called tact.)

From the process of tug-of-war, we understand that there are three most important points in doing things: first, direction, second, and positioning. It's action.

How to change? Three principles are proposed: first, power should not be deviated from the scriptures; second, power should not harm others; third, power should not be used too much.

If the superiors like you, then you will behave well; if the superiors don’t like you, no matter how good you are, you will not be able to do it.

When you get an opportunity, when you are promoted from above, when you are appreciated by many people, you must be particularly careful not to over-perform.

Everything in the universe is dynamic and changing at any time; human destiny is also dynamic and changing at any time.

You will mature after more tempering in life.

Westerners only have religion as their belief. Our belief is higher than religion and is called Tao.

Where there are routines there are exceptions.

People should be afraid and should not indulge themselves and do whatever they want for their own needs.

Everything has value if you use it wisely.

Fortune telling means that you calculate and see, and I listen and see. If it is beneficial to me, I will try to achieve it; if it is not beneficial to me, then I will try to avoid it. This is what the "Book of Changes" tells us about seeking good fortune and avoiding misfortune.

The Book of Changes gives us inspiration: Don’t just look at the present, but know the changes in the future.

We are very accustomed to giving all credit to our superiors. We Chinese will not compete with superior leaders for credit.

If a person does not see him as an opponent, this person has no value at all.

What is ability? It means that you have the ability, and you also need to show that you are welcomed, accepted and convinced by others.

Westerners specialize in ability. The Chinese don't talk about ability. It's not that they don't value ability, but they talk about something deeper than ability, called ability.

If a person is not famous and makes no money, the chance of self-destruction is relatively small; if a person is famous, rich and powerful, this person is about to self-destruct.

When a person arrives in a (new) place, he should first calm down, get to know the local situation and the personality of the leader, then get familiar with the environment, interact with other people, and wait until everyone supports you. You just show it with confidence.

If you are not sure that everyone will support you, it is best not to show off, otherwise you will make a fool of yourself.
