The 2022 Asian Men's Basketball Cup was held in Jakarta, Indonesia from July, 2022 to July, 2022.
* * * A total of 16 teams participated in the competition, namely defending champions Australia, Bahrain, China, China Taipei, India, Iran, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Lebanon, New Zealand, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Syria and the host Indonesia.
On July 24th, 2022, in the final of the 2022 Asian Cup of Indonesian Basketball, Australia defeated Lebanon 75-73 and won the championship. Wael araki of Lebanon was elected as the MVP of this tournament.
In this competition, China won the eighth place; China's qi zhou was chosen as the best team in this tournament.
