List of China Table Tennis Team Participating in Tokyo Olympic Games

On 20021May 16, the Chinese Table Tennis Association officially announced the list of China table tennis teams participating in the Tokyo Olympic Games:

It is reported that the selection of the list of participants in this Olympic Games was conducted in a standardized and orderly manner according to the requirements of the State Sports General Administration for participating in the Tokyo Olympic Games and the "Selection Measures for Table Tennis Events Participating in the Tokyo Olympic Games" formulated by the Chinese Table Tennis Association. On the basis of collective discussion by the coaching staff of China Table Tennis Team, this list was discussed by the selection leading group meeting and reported to the President's Office of China Table Tennis Association for study and final approval.

According to the selection method, outstanding competition results, excellent foreign records, strong psychological quality and strong pressure resistance have become the "threshold" for athletes to be selected into the Olympic lineup. In addition, it is also necessary to comprehensively evaluate the athletes' competitive strength, physical condition, rehabilitation of injuries, ideology of winning glory for the country and taking care of the overall situation, and reasonably determine the athletes' concurrent items.

On the men's line, Grand Slam winner and table tennis men's team leader Malone, as well as Fan Zhendong, currently ranked first in the world, will join hands with Xu Xin to defend the honor of the men's team. Qin Zhijian, head coach of the National Table Tennis Men's Team, said that the lineup of the men's team was unanimously adopted by the coaching staff after a collective meeting to discuss and study.

Fan Zhendong won the World Cup singles championship three times in a row from 20 18 to 2020, ranking first in the world for nearly a year. Xu Xin is the champion of the men's team in Rio 20 16 Olympic Games. He holds the racket in his left hand and has outstanding doubles ability. Together with Malone, ZhangJike and Fan Zhendong, he won the gold medal in the world doubles and is the best player in men's doubles at present.

Among them, she won three world championships (World Championship, World Cup Team Competition and World Cup Singles), and now she ranks second in the Olympic qualification.

Liu is the champion of the women's team at the 20 16 Rio Olympic Games, the gold medal in women's singles and mixed doubles at the 20 19 World Championships, and the "five consecutive championships" in the Women's World Cup.
