Travel diary | Special experience: people living deep in the mountains of Guizhou

What impressed me most in Guizhou was not the tourist attractions I visited, but the deep mountains of my companions 's home.

Almost halfway through the month-long trip to Guizhou, I arrived at her home deep in the mountains after the trip with my companions. What moved me the most was not the tourist attractions I visited, but my companion’s home deep in the mountains. Her home is in a remote mountain village in Xiangba Town, Sinan County, Tongren City, Guizhou Province, a place with beautiful mountains and clear waters. We first took a bus from Zunyi to Sinan County, and then took a bus to the town. There was no car from the town to her home, so she and I took a private motorcycle to her home.

The scenery along the way is green mountains and green waters, continuous mountains, and the jewel-colored river. Along the way I saw herds of goats and stretches of terraced fields. Saw many spectacular and picturesque scenery. But what impressed me the most was how remote this place was. I sat on a local uncle’s motorcycle and the bumpy ride was surrounded by beautiful scenery up and down. This made me feel excited and happy, but at the same time it made me deeply emotional. Farther and farther away. Climbing one mountain after another...

I didn’t think much about it. I didn’t know how people lived deep in the mountains. Before I came here, I thought everything here was very romantic. . Indeed, the scenery here is pleasant, and it reminds me of "Qingpingle Village Residence". The eaves are low, the grass is green on the stream, Wu Yin is so charming when he is drunk, and who is the old lady with gray hair? The eldest son is hoeing beans to the east of the stream, while the middle son is weaving a chicken coop. His favorite child is rogue, lying at the head of the stream peeling off lotus pods. Sitting in the yard at night, looking at the stars, I thought: seven or eight stars in the sky, two or three o'clock rain in front of the mountain, beside the forest of the old Maodian community, and the bridge suddenly appeared when the road turned.

It is indeed romantic here. I also saw cows plowing the fields, chickens roaming freely in the yard, and pigs rolling in the pig pen. But for the first time, I learned that the pig pen stinks, the cowshed also stinks, and chickens are not meant to be touched. Neither pigs nor cows were made to be photographed with me. What I didn't know was that the road I came on had been repaired in recent years and was the current road. When my friends were in primary school and middle school, they had to walk along rugged mountain roads for several hours every week. All this is beyond my imagination and I dare not even think about it.

I didn’t know that there was no traffic here. Before I came here, my companions didn’t describe to me how different this place was from my life. On the way to her home, I was not only shocked by the beautiful scenery, but also what I couldn’t imagine is how difficult it is for the children here to go out and how difficult it is for the children here to study. On the bus from the county to the town, I sat next to a girl who was a sophomore at Guizhou University for Nationalities, majoring in Chinese language and literature. She had to climb so many mountains and cross so much water on her way home. Riding a car over mountains and ridges. At that time, I could imagine how difficult it would be for this girl to go to school.

I have completed many firsts in my life here, the first time I came to a home in the mountains of Guizhou; the first time I saw a primitive stove and used it to help my companions cook; the first time Riding a motorcycle across the mountain road; living in a wooden house for the first time; seeing a primitive well for the first time and knowing that everyone drinks water directly from that well; sitting in the yard of a mountain home for the first time, looking up at the stars and feeling There are seven or eight stars in the sky and two or three points of rain in front of the mountain. It was the first time I went to the pigsty to see the pigs, I went to the cowshed to talk to the cows, and I went to the pigsty to use the toilet at night... I also learned many things for the first time, including that the pigsty was very smelly and there were flies and various mosquitoes. , I learned that the place where Niuniu, who I thought was very cute, lived was also smelly...

I also experienced a lot, and experienced the room where my companion lived in the mountains. She told me that she had never experienced it before 2017. Bed, I can't imagine it at all, or I didn't imagine her living in such a place. I thought the mountains were beautiful, the houses would be beautiful, and at the very least, they would be much better than what I saw. I was shocked here. Because of the remoteness, everything is still very primitive. The oil used by people here is lard saved from killing pigs. There is no oil to buy. The vegetables that people eat here are all grown by themselves. There are no vegetables. Market and vegetable vendors. This evening we went out for a walk, and I found that this is the house on the mountain. It is said that there are wild boars in this mountain, and my companion said she had seen it.

Because it is really the first time in my life to come here, everything is new, scary and uncomfortable. My novelty and fear always made my companions and locals feel "strange".

I hope I can persist. The cold will definitely be cured and the cough will be cured as well. Allergy symptoms will also get better.

Life has given me too much. I am a lucky child. I can no longer live in blessings and not know how blessed I am. I am grateful to my parents and everything around me.

The gentleness of the green mountains,

The shyness of the clear water.

Please never shed tears.

Love in the apocalypse,

is like falling red flakes.

In memory,

The soul surges...
