It is still a mystery that a large number of grotesque stone statues were washed away in Hunan villages in the rainstorm. What is the origin?

China has a long history, but we don't know much about it. We usually learn about it by studying the cultural relics left by the ancients. Therefore, China has gradually attached importance to the protection of cultural relics and established many key cultural relics protection units. 196 1 On March 4th, the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor was announced as the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units. 1974 found the Terracotta Warriors in it, which is called "the eighth wonder of the world". This shows the importance of terracotta warriors and horses to historical research, and the vast area of Terracotta Warriors and Horses Pit in Qin Shihuang Mausoleum amazed the world.

Miracle remains like this are not uncommon in China. Experts found an amazing sight in a village in Hunan Province. After a heavy rain, some statues with large number and area were washed out in the village. What kind of spectacle is this? This village is called Tian Guangdong Village, which is located in Xianglinpu Town, Dao County, Yongzhou City, Hunan Province. This village has a long history, which has gone through 700 years. There is a mysterious place in the village that villagers avoid talking about and no one dares to enter. This place is Ghost Mountain. So why are the villagers afraid of this place?

This has to start with a rainstorm on 20 12. It rained heavily, and many grotesque stone statues on the mountain were washed away. These stone statues have different shapes and sizes, and some of them are exaggerated and full of mystery. Some archaeologists have conducted exploration and research here. It is generally inferred that this is an ancient place of sacrifice, and the person who wants to sacrifice is Shun Di.

Speaking of Shun Di, I think everyone has heard of him. He is the originator of moral culture in China and the leader of tribal alliance in the late patriarchal society. Shun Di period marked the history from barbarism to civilization. It is said that he was buried in turtle ridge after his death. After being washed away by the rainstorm, the villagers found many stone statues scattered on the ground, some as big as babies, some as big as adults, and everyone's figure was different. Locals called them "ghost puppets" and thought they were "Yin soldiers" when Shun Di was buried.

Not long after, the local cultural relics department received the news, so it sent experts here to find out and found that there were more than 10 thousand stone statues, large and small. After the erosion of time, the facial expressions of some stone statues are blurred, but the lines of some stone statues are still clearly visible. What experts can confirm after observation is that these stone statues were excavated manually, and the history can be traced back to thousands of years ago. As for the origin of these stone statues, it remains to be verified.

Moreover, in March 2002, a group of experienced experts came here for a field trip, and their conclusions were even more surprising. They think that the age of the stone statue in Guiziling is even older than the Warring States period inferred by 1988, which can be inferred to the primitive human period. But a rainstorm on 20 12 made more stone statues appear in front of people, which was more helpful for us to study ancient civilization. Although experts have different opinions after several explorations, they all agree that this place is a sacrificial site.

The discovery of the turtle ridge site was purely accidental, and it was precisely because of this rainstorm that a large number of stone statues reappeared in front of the world. There are many historical clues of the Three Emperors and Five Emperors in the past dynasties, but for some reasons, no excavation work was carried out on Guizailing. Although many scholars insist that this is Shun Di's graveyard, it is a guess after all, and it is still a mystery.
