Brief introduction of Niuwang Temple
In the upper reaches of the Ma Xiao River in the west of Neiqiu County, Xingtai City, there is a Sansheng Temple, that is, Niuwang Temple, which is located on a mound in the west of Neiqiu County 13 km south of Mong Kok Tai Village. It is an existing Qing dynasty building. There are three immortals in the center of the hall (also known as the "three saints" among the people): the ox king is in the middle, the five roads are on the left, and the earth branches are on the right. Under the Three Sages are two assistants of Niu Wang, on the left is Dr. Zhao, a full-time veterinarian who specializes in treating diseases of cattle and horses, and on the right is Xiao Zhang, a shepherd boy who specializes in herding and taming cattle. According to the local people, Niu Wang is a Taoist priest. Because I value this land of geomantic omen, I have been practicing here for a long time, especially cattle and horses. People often ask him to treat livestock and enjoy high prestige in the local area. After his death, he was regarded as the king of cattle and built a temple here for sacrifice.
