The scenic spot is 55 kilometers away from the county seat and 0/00 kilometers away from Chengdu/KLOC. 1985 started scientific investigation and feasibility study, and 1986 officially opened to the outside world.
/kloc-0 was approved as a provincial-level scenic spot by Sichuan provincial people's government in August, 1989, and was approved as a national key scenic spot by the State Council in June, 1994. This scenic spot is a national key scenic spot featuring high mountain natural scenery. Located in the middle of Qionglai Mountain range, it belongs to the transition zone between the eastern edge of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and Chengdu Plain.
