Dazhou Town is located in the southeast of pingnan county, surrounded by Dapo Town, Daan Town, Daxin Town, Jing Ling Town and Tianping Town. The town government is located in Dazhou Wei, 43 kilometers away from Pingnan County. Daan-Dapo asphalt highway runs through the whole territory with convenient transportation. The total area of the town is 1 15.25 square kilometers, and it governs 14 administrative villages with a population of 38,000 at the end of 2006.
