Dongyue Tianqi Temple is located in Hegusi Village, southeast of Pingxiang County, Xingtai City. Legend has it that it was built during the Eastern Zhou and Warring States periods. A Taoist priest in Mount Tai went to Huashan to spread to the west and passed by here, witnessing nine roads flowing into this place. Shaped like nine longkou, it is called Jiulongkou. Look at its landform, it is indeed a treasure house for building temples and cultivating oneself. After careful consideration, Lao Dao decided to build a magnificent temple here to promote Taoism. At that time, due to the small population, it was powerless to rely on charity from all directions. The old man drew funds from his own concept, designed and supervised the work himself, and built it here.
