Koala, whose scientific name is Koala, belongs to Koala family and Koala genus. It is very fat and has no tail. Adult koalas are about 70-80 cm long and weigh about 10 kg, and their longest life span can reach 20 years.
Koalas are mainly distributed in low-altitude and sparse eucalyptus forests in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.
Living habits
Koalas generally belong to Nocturnal Animals. They are active at night and dusk, because it can save more water and energy consumption than when the temperature is high during the day. During the day, I usually curl up and perch on eucalyptus, and then go out for activities at night, climb up and down the branches and look for eucalyptus leaves to satisfy my hunger.
I have lived under eucalyptus trees for most of my life, but occasionally I fall to the ground because of changing habitat trees or swallowing gravel to help digestion. Feeding on eucalyptus leaves and branches, eucalyptus leaves are their only food. They almost never drink water in the fields because they can get enough water from eucalyptus leaves.
