What kind of person is Qian Liu?

Biography: Qian Liu, a native of Lin 'an, Hangzhou, was the founder of Wu Yue State during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. Qian Liu, born on February 16th, the sixth year of the Tang Dynasty, was born in the first five dragons near the water at the foot of Daguan Mountain in Shijing Township, Lin 'an County, Hangzhou. Qian Liu has been practicing martial arts since childhood and is good at archery and dancing. He also dabbled in pictures and books, and made a living by selling smuggled salt as an adult.

Main achievements: In the fourth year of Kaiping, Qian Liu mobilized a large number of laborers to build seawalls along the Qiantang River, and fixed huge gabions filled with stones on the riverside with wooden stakes to form a solid seawall, which protected the farmland along the riverside from tidal erosion. Because the stone pond has the function of storing water, the farmland along the river can benefit from irrigation. Qian Liu set up Liaohu Army to dredge Qiantang Lake, which is not only beneficial to its sightseeing irrigation, but also leads the lake into a golden pool, which is connected with the canal. Qian Liu has also set up four "Liao Water Army" with 7,000 or 8,000 people in Taihu Lake area to dredge lakes, dikes and rivers, so that Suzhou, Jiaxing and Changzhou can enjoy the benefits of irrigation.
