First of all, calligraphy and painting works have become a complete work of art after mounting, so they must be properly kept and stored reasonably, so as not to be damp, moldy and infected. When storing, wrap the scroll with cotton paper or tissue paper, wrap a new newspaper outside (the ink in the newspaper can prevent insects from eating it), then put it in a plastic bag and tie the bag tightly. If there are many pictures, you can pack them and put them in drawers or painting cabinets in an orderly way. Don't put too much, so that there is pressure on the lower level. They should be divided into several layers, and each layer should be labeled and listed. The painting cabinet should be placed in a dry and cool place, and some moisture-proof and insect-proof agents can be put in the cabinet.
Precious ancient scrolls, such as landscape paintings and figure paintings, should be collected and stored with extra care and careful management. In addition to the above requirements, cartons, wooden cases, tool kits or cloth bags should be tailored according to the length and diameter of the painting axis, and the author, content, storage date and repair date should be indicated on the label. Ancient calligraphy and painting should be stored in fewer volumes to prolong its life.
