Statues of two ancestors, three clean-ups, four royals and five old people. Who are they?

The statues of the second ancestor, Sanqing, Siyu and Wuchang are the gods of Taoism in China.

1, a statue

Refers to the supreme god in ancient China, that is, the supreme existence between heaven and earth. In China's traditional religion and philosophy, there are many different gods, such as Tiandi, Taigong and Jade Emperor. Statues represent the creator and master of the universe and are supreme beings.

2. Second ancestor

Refers to the second generation founder of Buddhism, namely the direct disciple of Sakyamuni Buddha (Maha Muyilian). Mu Jianlian is one of the top ten disciples of the Buddha, and he plays an important role in the inheritance of Buddhism. He is famous for his brave and diligent practice and profound understanding of Buddhism, and is known as the second ancestor of Zen.

3. Sanqing

It is an important concept in Taoism and refers to the highest god of Taoism. Sanqing includes three immortals: Taishang Laojun, Lingbao Zhenren and Zhunti. As the leader of taoist sanqing, Grand Priest is regarded as the highest god in the universe. Lingbao real person and Zhunti are the second-level gods in Sanqing respectively, with high status and miraculous powers.

4. Four Royal Families

It refers to the four ancient gods in China, namely the Oriental Dragon, the Western White Tiger, the Southern Suzaku and the Northern Xuanwu. Four imperial patrons represent patrons from four directions. In the traditional culture of China, they are widely used in geomantic omen, architecture and sacrifice. Qinglong, Baihu, Suzaku and Xuanwu symbolize the four seasons, four directions and four elements, which have strong symbolic significance.

5. Five old people

It refers to the five sages who reached a high level of practice in ancient China, called the Five Elders. They are Zhong Liquan, Taiyi Zhenren, Lv Dongbin, He Xiangu and Zhang Daoling. In Taoism, the Five Elders are regarded as models of immortality and immortal achievements, and their legends and stories occupy an important position in China culture.

Five parties and five elders introduced:

The "five parties and five elders" mentioned here are not in the Taoist system, but are inextricably linked with Taoism, only serving the existence of film and television works. "Five parties and five elders" do not belong to the sequence of heaven, but are representatives of five parties except heaven. To some extent, they are all powerful.

There will be their own old rules. In the west, Buddhist monks, bodhisattvas, holy monks and arhats will be invited. In the south pole, Guanyin will be invited. In the east, the holy emperor will be invited. In the ten continents and three islands, the fairy will be invited. In the north pole, the fairy will be invited. This is the Five Elders. The western Buddha refers to the Tathagata, who is the first of the five elders. Invite him to the Flat Peach Club, so that he can take some of his bodhisattvas, holy monks and arhats with him.
