Should architecture students take Feng Shui courses?

The professor of architectural history in our department said, "It is necessary to learn Feng Shui knowledge when learning architecture."

So I looked up some geomantic information on the Internet. What I found was what was wrong, how to control it, and how it was unlucky, but I never explained the philosophy, geography, geology, psychology, ecology and other sciences contained in it, so it looked mysterious and made many young people flinch from Feng Shui.

Later, I studied some cases of ancient buildings' geomantic omen in the history of architecture, and I found that it is not unreasonable for people to attach importance to geomantic omen since ancient times.

In geomantic omen, water is the source of life. Have you found that the places near the water are relatively rich?

The use of light is very important in architectural design. Adequate light sources affect people's health and mood. Ultraviolet radiation can sterilize, and bright light can bring positive psychological senses.

People are always in awe of nature, because natural disasters are inevitable, but the principle of Feng Shui is to seek good fortune and avoid evil. This has attached great importance to the location, orientation and height of the house.

I was lucky enough to read Mr. Xu Lianbin's article. He said that the core of Feng Shui is "the unity of heaven and earth", which is the real Feng Shui.

My humble opinion from a student majoring in architecture, please forgive me for any inaccuracies. The geomantic culture has a long history. I have joined Yifeng membership class, and I will continue to study geomantic omen with Mr. Xu Lianbin in the future. What my ancestors left behind should not be lost. True feng shui, Yifeng said.
