Huoshan Wenfeng Pagoda was built in the fifth year of Qing Daoguang (1822). As a masonry structure, the tower is a pavilion-shaped solid with six sides and seven floors, and has a bronze gourd-shaped ceiling. The height of the tower is 31.44m (the bottom height is 2 1 m and the bottom length is 22m), the bottom circumference is 24m, and the tower foundation covers an area of 48m. The bottom of the tower is embedded with the seal script "Wenfeng Tower" with clear handwriting. Each floor is also embedded with inscriptions by famous scholars at that time, and the edges are decorated with figures, Buddha statues, animals and flowers. Its carving patterns are unique and diverse, which are rare in ancient pagodas in Anhui.
South Pagoda is the only ancient pagoda in Huoshan County. Pagoda in 1983 was listed as a key cultural relics protection unit at the county level. July 2065438+02 was listed as the sixth batch of cultural relics protection units in Anhui Province.
