Jingyuquan Mountain Scenic Area is now a place where leading comrades of the Central Committee cultivate themselves and are not open to the public. It is impossible to open to the outside world in the future. The wonderful tower of Yuquan Mountain is located on the peak on the north side of Yuquan Mountain in Haidian District, Beijing. Built in Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty, it belongs to the King Kong Pagoda with masonry structure. In the overall architectural structure of the tower, * * * has a main tower and four small towers.
Yuquan Mountain is located in the west of the Summer Palace. The mountain trend is northwest and saddle-shaped, with the depth of 1300m, the widest point from east to west of about 450m, and the elevation of the main peak of 100m. There are grotesque caves in the mountains, gurgling streams, gurgling springs, gurgling water, and a treasure trove of geomantic omen. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the palace water was transported from Yuquan and became one of the folk water springs. Since the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, it has been a famous scenic spot in the suburbs of Beijing.
Overview of main scenic spots
According to the remains of Jin Dynasty Palace, in the 19th year of Qing Emperor Kangxi (1680), a detached palace was built in Yuquan Mountain, named Cheng Xinyuan, and later renamed Jingming Garden. Jingming Garden is one of the three mountains and five gardens in the western suburbs of Beijing in Qing Dynasty, under the sunshine of Yuquan Mountain. Inside the gate of Jingmingyuan is the Qin Zhengting Hall. The lakeside in the park faces the clear spring on the left and the Yufeng Tower on the right.
There is a Longwang Temple at the water source of Yuquan. In front of the temple is the Yuquan Tu Tu stone tablet inscribed by Emperor Qianlong. There are two stone tablets on the left and right, which are respectively engraved with the first spring in the world and the first spring in Yuquan Mountain, both of which are imperial pens of Emperor Qianlong. This water flows eastward into Kunming Lake in Wanshou Mountain, and then as far as Shichahai in Beijing, and then flows into Yutai Pool to become a canal, and then flows into Baihe River through Tongzhou.
To the south are Guanyin Cave and Qingyi Zen Cave. On the right is the Daluzu Temple, followed by the Lugong Cave, where there are seven pagodas called Huazang Pagoda. There is a temple and a pagoda on the west side, namely Shengyuan Temple and Glass Pagoda. There is a seven-fold jade peak tower at the highest peak in the north.
