Yunxian Wenbi Pagoda, located in Flint Mountain in the southeast of Yunxian County, Lincang, is impressively listed. Municipal cultural relics protection units.
Yunxian Wenbi Pagoda was built in the year of Renyin, Qianlong, Qing Dynasty (1782). It is a masonry structure, square, 20 meters high, ***9-level, dense-eaves three-dimensional Feng Shui pagoda. From the second floor and above, there is a shallow niche in the middle of each floor, and there is no Buddha statue. The top of the tower is a bronze tripod with a bronze phase wheel, and two bronze bells are hung at each corner of the phase wheel. During the Guangxu period, the top corner was damaged by lightning, and cracks have extended downward so far, making the tower southward. 1982 the government allocated funds for maintenance, strengthening the tower foundation and adding steps.
1982, Yunxian People's Government announced Yunxian Wenbi Pagoda as a county-level cultural relics protection unit.
On June 6th, 2006, Wenbi Pagoda in Yunxian County, lincang was announced by lincang Municipal People's Government as the second batch of cultural relics protection units.
