Production environment in Ru Ci.
Ruzhou is bordered by Songshan Mountain in the north and Funiu Mountain in the south. The rolling mountains and rivers extend to the middle, forming a landscape of mountains and rivers. There are 42 kinds of proven mineral resources in the city. The main minerals are: coal, bauxite, copper, lead, zinc, gold, marl, iron, marble, dolomite, kaolin, pyrophyllite, mineral water, basalt, plum blossom jade, phosphate rock and so on.
Among them, coal is particularly rich, and it is known as the "Hundred Miles of Coal Sea". The mineral resources in Ruzhou City have formed a resource distribution pattern in which coal-aluminum-limestone is widely distributed, ceramic raw materials-geothermal-graphite are concentrated, and other non-ferrous and rare metals are produced sporadically. The raw materials of ceramics are pyrophyllite and feldspar, which are located in Lingtou and Wenquan Town respectively. Ruzhou is rich in kaolin, agate, clay and other raw materials, which provides superior natural conditions for the emergence, development, maturity and prosperity of Ru Ci firing technology.
