The history of Luo?

Luo is a descendant of Zhu Rong's family and his ancestral home is Xiong. Its ancestor, Zhuan Xu, an ancient tribal leader, was named Xiong (female Yun Kuangzheng), who made outstanding achievements in military service and was named Luo. During the Spring and Autumn Period, Luo was destroyed by Chu, and China people took the country as their surname, which was Luo's real name. In the Tang Dynasty, Khan, a western Turkic, entered China, and his descendants took Hutuluo as their surname and later changed it to Luo. Some Ai Xinjue Roche in the Qing Dynasty also changed their surnames to Luo, calling them Roche. It can be seen that Luo surname is a "big family" surname used by Han nationality and ethnic minorities. According to the examination, Luo is a famous family in the county (now Nanchang County, Jiangxi Province).

"Jiangxi Roche Genealogy" contains: Luo people went out of (now Nanchang, Jiangxi) Xishan. During the war in the late Tang Dynasty, Luo retired from office, and his eldest son, Luo Jingxin, moved to Ningdu Prefecture (now Ningdu County, Jiangxi Province) for decades, and then moved to Ninghua Shibi, Tingzhou Prefecture, Fujian Province to establish a career. According to the tombstone of luoquan, the ancestor of Qianmen, and the genealogy of Roche in Qianmen, Fuxi, luoquan moved from Yongfeng, Jiangxi Province to Fuxi, Ningdu County (now Dongpuba, Ningdu County) in the Northern Song Dynasty. According to the Records of Shicheng County, Luo surname was one of the 15 Kaiji surnames who moved to Shicheng from the Tang Dynasty to the Five Dynasties.

According to the Genealogy of Luo Family in Xingning, the descendants of the 17th Luo Qisheng and Zunsheng were mostly distributed in Ganxian, Nankang, Xingguo, Xinfeng, Du Yu, Changning (now Xunwu), Anyuan, Ji 'an and Fuzhou in Jiangxi. He also traveled to Nanxiong, Dongguan, Guangzhou, Luoyang, Henan, Wuping, Sichuan, Chaling, Lingxian (now Yanling) and other places. The Hakka spirit in Ninghua, the Hakka style in Changting and the origin of Hakka surnames in Meizhou are all recorded. In Luoruihe Village, Longgang District, Shenzhen, there is a Hakka enclosure "Hehu New Residence" built between Jiaqing and Jiaqing (building area 14530 square meters), which once lived in Roche with more than 1000 people. According to the preface to the new residence of Hehu, Luo Xiaojiugong (born in the second year of Southern Song Dynasty) moved from Ningdu, Jiangxi to Xingning, Guangdong. In the twenty-third year of Qing Qianlong, Luo moved from Xingning to Mazutou, Longgang, and founded the "Crane Lake New Residence". His sons and grandchildren are all over the world.

According to the notice compiled by Meizhou Roche Genealogy Editorial Committee 1997, the historian Luo of Salt and Iron was a bachelor of Hanlin in the late Tang Dynasty and moved to the county (now Ningdu County, Jiangxi Province) to avoid the war. Decades later, later generations moved to Shibi, Ninghua, Fujian. At the end of the Southern Song Dynasty, Mongolia invaded and entered Guangdong from Fujian, leaving Meizhou. The Luo family developed all over Jiangxi, Fujian and Guangdong, and their descendants moved to Hunan, Sichuan, Zhejiang, Taiwan Province, Guangxi and Nanyang Islands.
