Is there anything special about playing gourd?

Things to note when choosing Wenwan gourds:

1. When choosing a hand-twisted gourd, you must have a faucet (that is, the vines on the gourd). Choose a gourd on the main vine. The vines are relatively strong. Not easy to break later.

2. The height of the hand-twisted gourd (except the faucet) is preferably 4-7 cm. Of course, those below 4 cm are better, but naturally mature ones are rare and most of them are treated with potions. .

3. Look at the appearance:

With a mouth: the part where the gourd and the faucet are connected should have a small cylinder.

It has a waist and a belly, and the left and right sides should be symmetrical: gently hold the gourd belly with two fingers and turn it in a circle. There will be no obvious ups and downs, and a perfect circle is better.

Flat butt: no support required, can be placed directly on a flat surface to stand upright.

Clean skin: There must be no blemishes and it must be as clean as water, jargon: a puddle of water.

The gourd must be mature: you can hear the seeds inside when you shake it.

The navel should be straight: the navel (the small circle at the bottom of the gourd) should be straight, round and smooth, without rotten or fried navel.

4. No peculiar smell (avoid gourds soaked in potions), preferably tasteless or with a natural grassy smell.

5. Porcelain skin: The gourd should have a round and smooth feel when pinched with your hands, and it should have a falling feeling when you pick it up. The lining should be bran, thick, and elastic like a sponge pad.

Notes on Wenwan gourd tray play:

1. Don’t rush to tray the gourds just after you get them home, dry them in the sun first. If the gourd has been equipped with a lid, be sure to remove the lid when drying, otherwise it will be easily cracked.

3. Wash your hands when playing handicap, and do not use hand sanitizer.

4. Use moderate force when playing handicap. The skin of the gourd is very brittle, and rubbing the surface hard will cause wounds. (The lines on the surface of the gourd grow vertically. When playing, be sure to remember to rub it horizontally, so that the surface of the gourd can be polished more evenly.)

5. When playing gourd, you must pay attention to the rhythm. One day, let it go for a day or two. (It doesn’t matter if you play with an old gourd)

6. Never use an oil pan, including facial oil, nose oil, walnut oil, olive oil and other oily liquids. Your hands already contain a small amount of oil, so there is no need to add any other oil. When playing with sweaty hands, it is best to use a cloth tray or a tray with cloth gloves.
