Tian Fei Danxia landform area is located 25 kilometers southwest of Chenzhou City, with an area of 48 square kilometers. It belongs to the red rock hilly landform, and the landform is carved by nature like human, beast, thing, bird and lifelike. The main Danxia landform type is Zhai (Bao), with orderly distribution, steep cliffs and red walls, and the green trees on the top of Zhai are canopy. The roofs of many villages are broken down into circular pits. Shenxianzhai is one of the main scenic spots in the scenic spot. In the meantime, there are canyons, stone gates, Tiansheng Bridge, skyline, caves and water-collecting depressions (Tianchi) formed by the disintegration of the village roof. Formed a wonderful Danxia landform with the village (fort) as the center, two rivers as the link, red rocks and green waters, red cliffs and Danxia, strange caves in canyons, ancient trees and bamboo seas, "green hills on all sides" and "flowers and plants full of fragrance".
Rock cave
The karst cave is located in Wanhua Cave, Wanhuayan Town, southwest of Chenzhou City 12km, and developed in the limestone of Lower Carboniferous formed about 350-320 million years ago. Northwest, about 9 kilometers long, is an underground river. The main hole is 2245 meters long. There are 13 unique halls in the cave, which can accommodate thousands of people at most. There is a spring outside the cave, a sky inside the cave, a hole inside the cave and a river inside the cave. There are many types of travertine deposits in the cave, such as stone fields, stalagmites, stalactites, stone pillars, stone curtains and curtains, which are densely covered, with different shapes and colorful weather. Especially the "underwater crystal cone" is the second natural treasure found in the world. What's more, the "egg and bamboo shoots" is the first treasure found in the world. The scenery outside the cave is also spectacular. A waterfall flows down from the top of the rock more than 50 meters, covering the hole with a silver water curtain. Through it, we can see that Zhang Nanxuan, a famous philosopher in the Southern Song Dynasty, wrote three characters "Wanhuayan" on the top of the rock.
There are two wooden hanging coffins in the Linjiang cliff cave, which is more than 200 meters west of Liyuzhai and Fengxing Mountain and dozens of meters away from the river. Taking the scenery in southern Hunan as a must, how the ancients put heavy wooden coffins on steep cliffs dozens of meters away from the river gives people unlimited leisure and great humanistic significance.
The geological structure of this scenic spot is complicated. There are many types of landforms in this area, including typical Danxia landform and karst cave landscape. The park integrates red rock and Danxia landform, karst caves, clear water and hot springs, and is also set off by ancient landscapes. Green mountains and green waters, red cliffs and red cliffs, and deep bamboo forests constitute a magnificent natural picture.
Underwater crystal cone
Crystal cone is the abbreviation of calcium film crystal cone and floating raft crystal cone. It is a calcium film (floating raft) precipitated by supersaturation of calcium carbonate or a cone that looks like stalagmite because of the impact of dripping water from the ceiling and the thickening of the pool surface. The distribution of floating raft crystal cones is relatively rare, mainly dry crystal cones that have been exposed to the air and stopped growing, but there are only two underwater crystal cones still growing in the world, and the underwater crystal cone with a kaleidoscope is one of them.
Millennium hanging coffin
The Millennium hanging coffin is a human mystery, which is rare in the whole southern Hunan area. Flying coffins have a history of more than 800 years, and there are many legends about their origin and development. There are five caves of different sizes on the cliff, and there are two wooden coffins in the caves, which are well preserved. Up to now (2008), no one dares to explore them, and their mystery is particularly strong and magical. The coffin was chiseled with a hard piece of wood carving, and it was exposed outside, dozens of feet away from the water. The bamboo and wood on the top of the cliff are lush, and birds can be faintly heard. Seen from a distance, it looks like a pearl inlaid on Dan Cliff.
