1. Li Bai’s poems about his ideals
Li Bai’s poems about his ideals 1. Li Bai’s poems about life dreams
In the first year of Tianbao (742), Li Bai Following the imperial edict, he went to Beijing and served as a minister of the Imperial Academy. Li Bai was originally a person who was active in the world. He was talented and ambitious, and wanted to do great things like Guan Zhong, Zhang Liang, Zhuge Liang and other outstanding figures. However, after entering the capital, he was not reused by Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty and was slandered and ostracized by powerful ministers. , and was "granted money and released" two years later, and was driven out of Chang'an in disguise. "Difficult Traveling" was written when he was forced to leave Chang'an, lamenting the difficulties and obstacles on the road of life. Li Bai had little ambition and the ideal of "helping the common people and stabilizing the country", and wanted to assist the emperor and achieve great things. At the age of twenty-four, he "said farewell to relatives and traveled far away". It was not until he was forty-two that he was enshrined in the Imperial Academy. Because he is arrogant and unrestrained, despises the powerful, and cannot be tolerated in the court. In the third year of Tianbao's reign, he was forced to leave Beijing, and his friends all came to pay him a farewell. With no hope of seeking an official position, he deeply felt the difficulty of the official career, and wrote this article "The Journey Is Difficult" with indignation.
Traveling is difficult.
Gold bottles of wine cost ten thousand coins, and jade plates cost ten thousand coins.
Stopping the cup and throwing chopsticks, I can’t eat. I draw my sword and look around at a loss.
If you want to cross the Yellow River, which is blocked by ice, you will have to climb the snow-covered mountains of Taihang.
I was fishing on the Bixi River when I was free, and suddenly I was riding a boat and dreaming about the sun.
Traveling is difficult! Traveling is difficult! There are many different roads, where are you now?
There will be times when the wind blows and the waves break, and the cloud sails are hung directly to help the sea.
Translation:
The gold cup contained expensive wine, and the jade plate was filled with delicacies worth thousands of dollars. But I stopped the cup and threw my chopsticks away, not wanting to drink. I pulled out my sword and looked around, and my heart was filled with confusion. Confused. I want to cross the Yellow River, but the river is frozen by ice and snow; I want to climb the Taihang Mountains, but the mountains are covered with wind and snow, which is blocked. At that time, Lu Shang lived idle and fished in Bixi. Before Yi Yin was hired, he passed by the sun on a boat in his dream. The journey is difficult, the journey is difficult! There are so many forks in the road, where is my path? One day, I will be able to ride the strong wind and break the huge waves, hang my sails high, and move forward bravely in the sea!
Appreciation:
This is the first of the three poems "Traveling is Difficult" written by Li Bai. Judging from the content of this group of poems, it should be written when Li Bai left Chang'an in the third year of Emperor Xuanzong's Tianbao reign (744).
The first four lines of the poem describe a friend who, out of his deep friendship for Li Bai and his regret that such a genius was abandoned, spared no expense and set up a feast to celebrate him. Li Bai, who is "a drinker and naive", would definitely drink "three hundred cups in one drink" if he was in normal times, because of the fine wines, delicacies and the hospitality of his friends. However, this time he picked up the wine glass, but pushed it away; he picked up the chopsticks, but put them down again. He left his seat, pulled out his sword, and looked around, feeling confused. The four consecutive movements of stopping, throwing, pulling out and looking vividly show the inner depression and emotional excitement and changes.
The next two sentences closely follow "the heart is at a loss", and the front reads "the road is difficult". The poet uses "ice-clogging rivers" and "snow-covered mountains" to symbolize the difficulties and obstacles on the road of life, which has a metaphorical meaning. A man with great political ambitions was ordered to come to Beijing and was lucky enough to get close to the emperor, but the emperor could not appoint him. He was "given money to return the mountain" and drove him out of Chang'an in disguise. Isn’t that great! However, Li Bai is not that kind of weak character. From the beginning of "drawing his sword and looking around", it means that he is unwilling to be depressed and will continue to pursue. "I was leisurely fishing on the blue stream, and suddenly I was riding a boat and dreaming of the sun." In a confused mood, the poet suddenly thought of two people who had a difficult time in politics at first, but finally made great achievements: one was Lu Shang, and the other eight. When I was ten years old, I was fishing in Feng River and met King Wen. One of them was Yi Yin. Before being hired by Tang, he dreamed that he was riding a boat around the sun and the moon. Thinking of the experiences of these two historical figures gave the poet more confidence.
"The journey is difficult, the journey is difficult, and there are many divergent roads. Where are we now?" The meeting of Lu Shang and Yi Yin certainly increased his confidence in the future, but when his thoughts returned to the reality before him, At this time, I once again felt the difficulty of life. As Li Yan looked forward to the future, he realized that the road ahead was rugged and there were many wrong paths. Where was the road he wanted to take? This is another round of emotions swirling in sharp and complex contradictions. But Li Bai, who was stubborn and confident, was never willing to show his discouragement at the banquet.
His strong desire to actively use the world finally made him get rid of the depression of wandering on the wrong road again, and sang a strong voice of confidence and outlook: "There will be times when the wind and waves break, and the clouds and sails will rise to the sea!" He believed that although There are many obstacles on the road ahead, but one day we will have to ride the long wind and break thousands of miles of waves, hang up the cloud sails, cross the sea, and reach the ideal other shore, as Zongcui said in the Liu Song Dynasty.
Are you satisfied with the above answers?
2. What are Li Bai's poems expressing his lofty ambitions?
Li Bai's "Yuefu: About to Enter the Wine": "If you are proud of life, you must have all the joy, and don't let the golden bottle empty to face the moon. I was born to be myself." The material will be useful, and the money will come back again after all the money has been spent." "Xuanzhou Xie Tiao Lou Farewell School Secretary Shu Yun": "Penglai's articles are built with bones in mind, and the little Xie in the middle is full of joy and strong thoughts. , I want to go up to the blue sky and see the bright moon. "
"The Road Is Difficult - Part 1": "There will be times when the wind blows and the waves break, and the sails will rise to the sea."
About to drink.
p>Tang Dynasty: Li Bai
If you don't see it, the water of the Yellow River will come up from the sky and rush to the sea never to return. Don't you see, the bright mirror in the high hall has sad white hair, and it looks like blue silk in the morning and turns to snow in the evening. If you are proud of life, you must have all the joy, and don't let the golden bottle stand empty against the moon. It is my nature that my talents will be useful, and I will come back after all my money has been spent. Cooking sheep and slaughtering cattle is a pleasure, and you will have to drink three hundred cups at a time. Master Cen, Dan Qiusheng, is about to drink wine, but don’t stop drinking. I sing a song with you, please listen to it for me. Bells, drums, food and jade are not expensive, but I hope I will never wake up after being drunk for a long time. In ancient times, all the sages were lonely, but only the drinkers left their names. In the old days, King Chen had a banquet and a lot of fun and banquets. What does the master mean if he has less money? It is up to you to sell it. The five-flowered horse and the golden fur will be exchanged for fine wine, and I will sell the eternal sorrow with you.
Traveling is Difficult Part 1
Tang Dynasty: Li Bai
A gold bottle worth ten thousand dollars worth of sake, a jade plate worth ten thousand dollars worth of treasures. Stopping the cup and throwing chopsticks, I can't eat. I draw my sword and look around at a loss. If you want to cross the Yellow River, which is blocked by ice, you will have to climb the snow-covered mountains of Taihang. When I was free to fish on the Bixi River, I suddenly took a boat and dreamed of the sun. Traveling is difficult! Traveling is difficult! There are many different roads, where are you now? There will be times when the wind blows and the waves break, and the clouds and sails are hung directly to help the sea.
The Road to Shu is Difficult
Tang Dynasty: Li Bai
Oh, how dangerous it is! The road to Shu is as difficult as climbing to the sky! Silkworms and yufu, how confused the founding of the country is! You are forty-eight thousand years old, and you are not in the vicinity of Qin Sai. There is a bird path in Taibai, Xidang, which can cross the top of Emei. The earth collapsed and the mountains destroyed the strong men to death, and then the ladders and stone stacks were connected to each other. There is a high mark of six dragons returning to the sun on the top, and a rushing wave and turning back to Sichuan below. The yellow crane cannot fly past, and the ape clings to it to overcome its sorrow. There are piles of green mud, and there are nine twists and turns in a hundred steps, lingering on the rocks. Mon went to the Lijing Well and raised his head and sighed, resting his head on his head with his hands, he sat down and sighed. I asked you when will you return from your journey to the west? Afraid of the unreachable rocks. But I saw mourning birds calling old trees, and male and female flying around the forest. I also heard Zigui crying about the moon at night and worrying about the empty mountains. The difficulty of the road to Shu is as difficult as climbing to the blue sky, which makes people wither their beauty! Even if the peaks are gone, the sky is not full, and withered pines hang upside down against the cliffs. The turbulent waterfalls are noisy, and the cliffs turn into rocks and thousands of valleys are thundered. The danger is also like this. People who have traveled far away have come here for nothing! The sword pavilion is majestic and Cui Wei. One man can guard the gate, but ten thousand men cannot open it. Those who were guarding or robbing relatives turned into wolves and jackals. Avoid tigers in the morning and snakes at night; grind your teeth and suck blood, killing people like numbness. Although Jincheng is happy, it is better to return home early. The road to Shu is as difficult as climbing to the blue sky. I turn to the west and look to the west to sigh!
Li Bai: courtesy name Taibai, nickname Qinglian Jushi, a romantic poet of the Tang Dynasty, was hailed as the "Immortal of Poetry" by later generations. His ancestral home is Longxi Chengji (to be tested). He was born in Suiye City in the Western Regions. He moved to Mianzhou, Jiannan Road with his father when he was 4 years old. Li Bai has more than a thousand poems and essays in existence, and the "Collection of Li Taibai" has been handed down to the world. He died of illness in 762 at the age of 61. His tomb is in Dangtu, Anhui today, and there are memorial halls in Jiangyou, Sichuan, and Anlu, Hubei.
3. Poems about Li Bai’s life ideals
There are more than 990 poems by Li Bai in existence.
There are a large number of political lyric poems, which fully express the poet's extraordinary ambition, unrestrained passion, and heroic spirit. They also represent the typical high-spirited tone of the poetry of the prosperous Tang Dynasty. Li Bai had a strong self-awareness and compared himself to the Dapeng many times, such as "The Dapeng rises with the wind in one day, and its power rises ninety thousand miles" ("Shang Li Yong").
However, Li Bai's frustrated return from Chang'an for three years made his passionate political enthusiasm turn into a sad and angry song of unrecognized talent, which burst out from his chest: "The road is like the blue sky, I can't help but feel embarrassed and chased away from the Chang'an society. I play with red chickens and white dogs on pears and chestnuts. I play songs with my sword and make bitter sounds. I drag my train with the king's family and feel unfavorable." Li Bai also wrote a joyful drinking poem to relieve the sorrow of not being able to find his talent. .
"Jingjinjiu": "If you are proud of life, you must have all the fun. Don't let the gold bottle stand empty against the moon. I am born with talents that will be useful. I will come back after all the gold is gone. I can enjoy cooking sheep and slaughtering cattle. I will be happy." "You have to drink three hundred cups at a time." In line with this bold and unrestrained emotional momentum, the distinctive characteristics of Li Bai's poetry in terms of artistic techniques are: magical imagination, unprovoked changes, vertical and horizontal jumps in structure, and inconsistent sentence lengths. , forming a majestic and elegant style.
Throughout his life, the poet has been praising the ideal life with his innocent heart. No matter when and where, he always embraces the whole world with enthusiasm, pursuing full action, meritorious service and enjoyment. All beautiful things have a keen feeling, grasp the reality without being satisfied with it, plunge into the rapids of life but transcend the worries of suffering, and realize one's own value in a high and excited mental state. If ideal color is the main feature of the poetic style of the prosperous Tang Dynasty, then Li Bai was at the forefront of the times with his more promising ideal singing.
The themes of Li Bai's poems are diverse. Representative works include: seven-character ancient poems ("The Road to Shu is Difficult", "The Journey is Difficult", "Sleepwalking Tianmu Yin Farewell", "About to Enter the Wine", "Liang Fu Yin", etc.), five-character ancient poems (59 poems in "Ancient Style"); The Yuefu folk songs of the Han, Wei and Six Dynasties, such as "Changgan Xing", "Midnight Wu Song", etc., and seven-character quatrains ("Wanglu Mountain Waterfall", "Wangtianmen Mountain", "Early Departure from Baidi City", etc.) have become famous in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. Chapter.
Li Bai was already famous in the Tang Dynasty. His poems are "uncollected in every collection".
Li Bai is the most prolific poet in China. He developed the artistic theme of heroism in the poetry of the Tang Dynasty.
Like other scribes of his generation, he had grand ambitions. Wisdom, willing to serve as an assistant, make the whole region settled and Hai County unified" ("Dai Shoushan's Reply to Meng Shaofu's Transfer of Documents") is his most persistent belief in life.
Whether Li Bai has the ability to overcome complex problems The actual ability to engage in political activities in the power structure may be very doubtful, but as a poet, this belief has become more of a starting point for him to pursue and praise a magnificent life. He draws strength from the demeanor and style of countless ancient heroes. He projected realistic ideals into history, thus establishing a gallery of heroic characters in his poems.
He praised heroes who rose up in the grassland and met in the turmoil. For example, "Liang Fu Yin" wrote about Taigong Wang: "You will not see the court." Song Tusou resigned from Jijin, and came to the west to fish for Weibin; I am ashamed and white hair shines on the clear water, and I am strong and think about economics. A virtuous tiger turns stupid unexpectedly, and he was quite like an ordinary person at that time." Praise for the righteous people who regard fame and wealth as nothing, such as Lu Zhonglian in the tenth chapter of "Ancient Style": "Qi You were born in a suave manner, and Lu Lian was extraordinary.
When the bright moon rises from the bottom of the sea, it shines brightly. The voice of Qin Zhenying shines brightly in the future.
I am also smiling at Pingyuan.
p>
Praise to the British master who loves talents and treats virtuous officers, such as the second part of "The Road is Difficult": "Don't you see that in the past, the Yan family valued Guo Wei, and there was no doubt about it. Ju Xin, Le Yi Thank you for your gratitude.
The bones of King Zhao are lingering in the grass. Who can sweep the golden platform? "Praise for the famous officials who are proud and unruly and insist on the dignity of common people, such as Li Shi in "Liang Fu Yin". It says: "Don't you see, a drunkard in Gaoyang is drafting, and he bows to Duke Long Zhun of Shandong. He doesn't bow to Cheng eloquent at the entrance, and the two girls quit washing to follow the wind. He marched eastward to Qi City for seventy-two times, commanding Chu and Han like a whirling cape.
Kuang Ke is in such a state of desolation, let alone a strong man who is among the heroes! "Most of the heroes in his novels are figures who dominate the historical stage during extraordinary periods of turmoil and chaos, and they are integrated with the lyrical protagonists and are inseparable. For example, in his work "Giving Reward" You Peng's poem said: "Feng shui is like seeing talents, throwing poles to help the emperor."
("Sima and Yan Zhengzi, King of Shoufang Prefecture, gave gifts to Xuejian") "Zi Guan, Ge Jing "Who promised it?" ("Giving Yangshan people after driving to the hot spring palace") After waking up from drunkenness, he expressed his ambition: "Fu said that Ban Zhuchen is a hawk and a dog man."
It’s better to hold on to Kuang Sheji than to endure hardships. " ("Winter Night Drunk Longmen Jueqi's Statement") When the Anshi Rebellion broke out, Li Bai regarded the situation as a conflict between Chu and Han, and described Zhang Liang and Han Xin as saying: "It's quite like the Chu and Han Dynasties, with no definite end to the overturn.
Passing Bolangsha in the morning and entering Huaiyin City at dusk. Zhang Liang did not meet Han Xinpo, and Liu Xiang's life and death depended on his two ministers.
I temporarily went to Xiapi to receive military strategy, and came to vote for Piao Mu as my master.
" ("Tiger Walking") After he entered the Yongwang Lin shogunate, he compared himself to Xie An: "But I use Dongshan to thank Anshi, and talk and laugh for you in the quiet Husha. "
(Part 2 of "The Song of King Yong's Eastern Patrol") Until he surrendered to the army at the age of sixty, he also promised Meng Zi in the Western Han Dynasty hero drama: "I returned from illness after half a day, but there was no reason for the southeast expedition." Yafu didn't see him, so Ju Mengzhu went ahead. ”
(“I heard that Lieutenant Li led millions of Qin soldiers to the southeast...”) Li Bai, who was born in the prosperous times, paid tribute to the heroes in troubled times, and of course he was not just thinking about the ancient times. Because through this As a kind of character, the poet is more able to express his "ambitious" spirit and enthusiasm, and express his life desire to establish glorious achievements in history and actively create self-worth.
Li Bai solves problems and helps the world. His ideals and uninhibited personality are freely unified to achieve a perfect life. His design of life path is carried out in two steps: first, to establish great achievements, as the saying goes: "If you can't do anything to replace your heart, what's the point of being good alone?" ? "("Gift to Secretary Wei Zichun") "When two dragons fight, the heaven and earth are shaken.
Drinking and dancing with long swords, hastily resolved the disputes of the Han Dynasty. " ("Send Zhang Xiucai to Visit the High School Prime Minister") After becoming successful, he did not covet wealth and fame, but made "Five Lakes" and "Cangzhou" his home, yearning for a free life.
He In his early years, when Qian Ye was seeking an official position, he made no secret of this point: "After success, I brushed off my clothes and swayed beside Cangzhou. "("Bitter Rain at Princess Yuzhen's Pavilion") Not when you are most proud of your official career.

About to drink wine
Li Bai
If you don’t see it, the water of the Yellow River is coming up from the sky and running fast. When you reach the sea, you will never return.
If you don’t see it, the bright mirror in the high hall will be sad and white, and it will turn into snow in the morning.
If you are happy in life, don’t let the golden bottle stand in front of the moon.
My talents will be useful, and I will come back after spending all my money.
If you enjoy cooking sheep and slaughtering cattle, you will have to drink three hundred cups at a time. Master Cen, Dan Qiusheng, is about to drink.
Please listen to a song with me.
Bells, drums, food and jade are not so valuable. I hope I will never wake up after being drunk for a long time.
In ancient times, all the sages were lonely, and only the drinkers left their names.
In the old days, King Chen had a banquet and had a lot of fun.
What does the master say about the little money? It is up to you to sell it.
The five-flowered horse and the golden fur will be exchanged for fine wine, and I will sell the eternal sorrow with you.
Traveling is Difficult Part One
Dynasty: Tang Dynasty
Author: Li Bai
Original text:
Jin The wine in the bottle is worth ten thousand, and the jade plate is worth ten thousand dollars. Crossing the ice-capped Yellow River, we are about to climb the snow-covered mountains of Taihang (A Snow-covered Mountain: Dark Sky with Snow)
I am fishing on the Bixi River, and suddenly I am riding a boat and dreaming of the sun.
< p> The journey is difficult! The journey is difficult! There are many divergent roads. How can I be safe now?5. What are Li Bai’s ideal and ambitious poems?
Li Bai’s “Shang Li Yong” A big roc rises with the wind in one day, soaring up to ninety thousand miles. If the wind stops, it will come down. I can still winnow away the Cangming water. When people see me, they all sneer when they hear my great words. Father Xuan can still be afraid of future generations, but his husband must not be young. Translation: One day the Dapeng will fly with the wind, and with the power of the wind, it will reach the sky. Outside. If the wind stops and the roc flies down, it can still raise the water in the rivers and seas. People in the world sneer when they see me always singing high-pitched songs and hear my heroic words. Confucius also said, "The younger generation is to be feared." A real man should not despise young people. People. Some pronunciations that should be paid attention to when reciting: Dust: sound bo3, verb, raised with a dustpan. Ming: sound ming2, noun, sea. Writing background: This poem was written by Li Bai who came to Yuzhou to visit around the eighth year of Kaiyuan (720) Li Yong (around the seventh to ninth year of Kaiyuan, he served as the governor of Yuzhou (today's Chongqing City)), hoping to find a political way out through Li Yong's recommendation, but was given a cold reception, so he wrote it in anger. When the poet was young and vigorous, the poem begins with The unruly Dapeng boasts of itself. The Dapeng is the divine bird in "Zhuangzi Xiaoyaoyou". It is said that this magical bird is so big that "it is unknown how many thousands of miles it is" and "its wings are like clouds hanging from the sky."
2 A knight travels with Zhao Keman and Hu Ying. The Wu hook is frosty and the snow is bright. The silver saddle shines on the white horse. It is as rustling as a shooting star. Killing one person in ten steps. Leaving no trace for a thousand miles. When the matter is over, brush off your clothes and go. Hidden in your body and name. Leisure Passed by Xinling and drank. He took off his sword and stood in front of his knees. He was going to eat Zhuhai while he was roasting. He held a cup to persuade the marquis to win. He poured out three cups of Nuo. The five mountains were light. After the eyes were dizzy and the ears were hot, his spirit and energy were born. He saved Zhao and waved the golden mallet. Handan first Shocked. Two heroes of the Qianqiu. Xuanhe Daliang City. Admiration, yearning for a life of rescuing people from danger and doing meritorious deeds. We know that the knight-errant style was quite popular in the Tang Dynasty. This is related to the Tang Dynasty when transportation in the Western Regions was developed, the national economy was increasingly prosperous, and urban commerce was prosperous. Therefore, they are just the traditional multi-talented knights of Yanzhao. Especially the customs in the Guanlong area "integrate Hu and Han into one, and there are no separate ways of civility and martial arts." (Chen Yinke: "Manuscript of the Political History of the Tang Dynasty") which further contributed to In his youth, Li Bai was deeply influenced by Guanlong culture and customs. Therefore, he studied diligently since childhood and "observed hundreds of schools of thought" and "fifteen good swordsmanship" ("Book with Hanzhou") "A high crown and a majestic sword" ("A gift to Ma Shaofu Ju in Reminiscing about an old trip to Xiangyang") Even, he never left the sword in his life: "Following the sword and screaming at night, his ambition is thousands of miles away." ("A gift to Zhang Xianghao" Part 2) "Long sword" A glass of wine can change a man's heart." ("A Gift to Cui Shiyu") It can be said that "civilization and martial arts have no special path", and he has both in Li Bai. So, why does the poet Li Bai love swords so much? This is inseparable from the fact that he despises wealth and values ??righteousness, and Shang Renxia. He said: "Fifteen good swordsmanship is common among the princes." It was the popular social consciousness of Renxia at that time. Driven by careerism and ambition, the young men Shang Renxia all In order to do something bold and satisfying, and gain widespread praise from the society. Li Bai's poem "Xia Ke Xing" is based on this consciousness of Ren Xia. Although the poem "Xia Ke Xing" praises Ren Xia, because the poet is still a Xia Ren , so the heroic ambition of the poet's youth is fully expressed. Translation: The knights in the land of Yanzhao wear the rough and patternless belts of the ethnic minorities [the knight's crown], and the blade of the sword is as bright as frost and snow. The knight The white horse he was riding had a silver saddle on it. The horse galloped like a shooting star. The knight was skilled in swordsmanship and brave. After the matter was over, he left with a flick of his clothes, hiding his name. There was In his free time, he went to drink at Lord Xinling's house, took off his sword and put it on his lap to show his boldness. He let Zhu Hai come to eat meat and persuaded Hou Ying to drink together. [Indicates that he was friends with the knights at that time] Knight After a few glasses of wine (in ancient poetry, three and nine are often imaginary), I made a promise, and took the promise more seriously than the five mountains. After being drunk, my ambition was endless, my blood was boiling, and unusual celestial phenomena appeared in the sky. , "A white rainbow penetrates the sun." The knight's spirit of attaching importance to promises and despising life and death moved heaven. / With this promise of the knight, great things will happen in the world. The knight Zhu Hai took out a 40-pound iron awl and shot Jin Bi to death. Let Lord Xinling then led the Wei army to attack the Qin army and relieved the siege of Handan. Zhu Hai and Hou Ying, two knights, were famous and widely spread in Daliang City. Who can be like them?
Just like Yang Xiong wrote "Tai Xuan Jing", he recorded the achievements of knights and passed them down to future generations.
6. What are Li Bai's ideal poems?
"Traveling is Difficult" Ten Golden Cup Sake Fights Thousands of delicacies on a jade plate cost tens of thousands of dollars.
The journey is difficult, the journey is difficult, and there are many divergent paths, where are you now? There will be times when the wind blows and the waves break, and the clouds and sails are hung directly to help the sea.
Translation of the whole poem: The gold cup contained expensive wine, and the jade plate was filled with delicacies worth thousands of dollars. But I stopped the cup and threw my chopsticks away, not wanting to drink. I pulled out my sword and looked around, feeling at a loss.
One day, I will be able to ride the strong wind and break the huge waves, hang my sails high, and move forward bravely in the sea.
7. The poet's verses expressing his ideals and their sources
Li Bai's "The Journey Is Difficult"
A gold bottle of wine is worth ten thousand, and a jade plate is worth ten thousand dollars. Stopping the cup and throwing chopsticks, I can't eat. I draw my sword and look around at a loss. If you want to cross the Yellow River, which is blocked by ice, you will have to climb the snow-covered mountains of Taihang.
I was fishing on the Bixi River when I was free, and suddenly I was riding a boat and dreaming about the sun. The journey is difficult, the journey is difficult, the roads are divided, where are you now? There will be times when the wind blows and the waves break, and the clouds and sails are hung directly to help the sea.
This is the first of the three poems "Traveling is Difficult" written by Li Bai. Judging from the content of this group of poems, it should be written when Li Bai left Chang'an in the third year of Tianbao (744).
The first four sentences of the poem describe a friend who, out of his deep friendship for Li Bai and his regret that such a genius was abandoned, spared no expense and set up a feast to celebrate him. Li Bai, who is "a drinker who is naive", would definitely drink "three hundred cups in one drink" if he was in normal times, because of the fine wines and delicacies, plus the hospitality of his friends.
The next two sentences closely follow "the heart is at a loss", and the front reads "the journey is difficult". "I was leisurely fishing on the blue stream, and suddenly I was riding a boat and dreaming of the sun." In a confused mood, the poet suddenly thought of two people who had a difficult time in politics at first, but finally made great achievements: one was Lu Shang, and the other was Jiu. Where is peace now?" The meeting of Lu Shang and Yi Yin certainly increased his confidence in the future, but when his thoughts returned to the reality in front of him, he once again felt that life was The difficulty of the road. His strong desire to actively use the world finally made him get rid of the depression of wandering on the wrong road again, and sang a strong voice of confidence and outlook: "There will be times to ride the wind and waves, and hang the clouds and sails to help the sea!" He believed that no matter what the road ahead, There are many obstacles, but there will still be a day when we can ride the long wind and break thousands of miles of waves, hang up the cloud sails, cross the sea, and reach the ideal other shore, as Zongcui said in the Liu Song Dynasty. This poem has fourteen lines and eighty-two characters. It can only be regarded as a short story among seven-character songs, but it dances freely and has the momentum of a long poem. One of the important reasons is that it reveals the ups and downs and complex changes of the poet's emotions step by step.
The beginning of the poem, "golden bottles of fine wine" and "jade plates of treasures", makes people feel like it is a joyful banquet, but then the two details of "stopping the cup and throwing chopsticks" and "drawing the sword and looking around" show emotions. The strong impact of the waves. In the middle four sentences, I just lamented that "the river is blocked by ice" and "the mountain is covered with snow", and suddenly I am traveling for thousands of years, as if I saw Lu Shang and Yi Yin suddenly being valued by the monarch from humble status. The poet's psychological disappointment and hope, depression and pursuit alternate rapidly. "The journey is difficult, the journey is difficult, the road is divergent, where is your peace now?" The four sentences have a short and jumping rhythm, which is completely an inner monologue in a state of eagerness and anxiety, vividly conveying the complex psychology of being at a loss but continuing to explore and pursue. In the last two sentences, after the previous repeated convolutions, the state of mind suddenly opened up, and a high and optimistic tone was sung, believing that one day one's ideals and ambitions will be realized. Through such layers of emotional ups and downs, it not only fully demonstrates the obstruction of the poet's grand ideals and ambitions by the dark and dirty political reality, but also reflects the intense depression, anger and injustice in the poet's heart caused by this, and at the same time highlights the It expresses the poet's stubbornness, self-confidence and his persistent pursuit of ideals, and shows the poet's strong spiritual power in trying to break free from depression.
This poem is influenced by Bao Zhao's "The Difficult Journey" in terms of subject matter and expression techniques, but it is better than the previous one. The poems of both men reflect the suppression of talents by feudal rulers to a certain extent. However, due to the reasons of the times and the poet's spiritual temperament, Li's poems reveal more deeply and intensely. At the same time, they also express a positive pursuit, Optimistic self-confidence and tenacious persistence in ideal character. Therefore, compared with Bao Zuo, Li Shi's ideological realm appears to be higher.
