Langzhong, the first ancient city of geomantic omen?

Langzhong, known as Baoning in ancient times, is located in the northeast of Sichuan Basin. Langzhong has the reputation of "Fairyland in Yuen Long" and "Bashu Yao Chong". Langzhong Ancient City, one of the four best-preserved ancient towns in China, was built in full accordance with the astronomical geomantic theory of the Tang Dynasty and is known as the "Geomantic Ancient City" in architectural geomantic omen. Go and get to know it.

The river is surrounded by battlements on three sides, and the mountains around it are locked with smoke. Langzhong is an ancient city with a history of more than 2,300 years, surrounded by water on three sides and mountains on all sides, and has the reputation of "the first geomantic ancient city in China". The unique Feng Shui culture has been deeply imprinted in every corner of the city.

"The ancient city of Langzhong is located in the basin, surrounded by mountains, showing four images of Feng Shui." According to He, deputy director of Langzhong Feng Shui Museum, the ancient city of Langzhong is surrounded by water on three sides, in the "water embrace" of Jialing River and surrounded by mountains on all sides. South of the mountains, Suzaku, North Xuanwu, East Qinglong and West White Tiger are four images. The location and layout of a city that integrates mountains, water and cities can be called a model of traditional feng shui pattern, which has a strong traditional culture and aesthetic color.

Standing on the Zhongtian building of the ancient city, the whole ancient city is divided into countless square blocks by streets, and the blue tile roofs are connected together.

"The ancient city is distributed in a chessboard with the Zhongtian Tower as the center," He Huijun said. Zhongtian Pagoda is the highest point of the ancient city, where the acupoints of "Longsha Water Cave" are located, and more than 90 streets in the city gradually spread out in a chessboard shape. The two vertical main streets are wide in the north and narrow in the south, which locks the wealth. The trade zone is located in the southeast of the city, which means that the purple gas comes from the east and the financial resources are abundant. The ancient city is located in the "land of Feng Shui", and the streets are full of Feng Shui culture.

At No.40 Bixiang Street in the ancient city, there is a Pushifu, which was built in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, with Jinping Mountain in front and panlong town Mountain in the back. On the left is the opposite writing pagoda, and on the right is Baixi City embracing each other. The Qingjiang River is surrounded by protection, and the yin and yang blend to gather wind and store gas, which has unique feng shui characteristics.

"A brave four-door change of words, the road is long, Xiu Yuan is awkward, and the string is changed." According to Li Yong, the owner of Pu Mansion, this mansion is unique in the ancient city. The courtyards in the ancient city basically face south, while the street gate of Pujia faces north. In order to realize the traditional layout of "sitting north facing south", the ancients built a tunnel from the west side of the house to the front of the "Fu" wall, then turned east and entered the house from the south, forming a unique "upside down" pattern.

"Pushifu is just a typical geomantic courtyard in Langzhong", Li Yong said, Pushifu is just a geomantic feature of the ancient city, and other courtyards in the city have their own characteristics, and Langzhong has always been an "ancient geomantic city".

He believes that Langzhong City in Han Dynasty did not have the current pattern of geomantic omen, and Langzhong, an ancient geomantic omen city, was the crystallization of geomantic omen in Tang Dynasty. In the Han Dynasty, Langzhong City was located in the counter-offensive area of Jialing River and was often flooded. Until the Tang Dynasty, the geomantic masters Yuan Tiangang and Li came to Langzhong to survey the overall planning of the ancient city, and moved southward as a whole, and determined the geomantic pattern of its buildings.

He also said that Yuan Tiangang and Li are famous astronomers and Feng Shui masters in Chinese history. The TuiBei Map written by them is known as the wonderful work of ancient oriental prophecy, and Yuan Tiangang is also known as the originator of China geomantic omen. It is also an anecdote that two people came to Langzhong.

According to historical records, during the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty, there was a lingering king's spirit thousands of miles away in the southwest, indicating that the country changed hands. Emperor Taizong urged Yuan Tiangang to measure Wang Dao, and Yuan Tiangang concluded that a new emperor was going to be born in Langzhong, so he chiseled a stone on the dragon neck of Panlong Mountain, forming the image of Long Mai to cut off Wang Dao. It is said that after the dragon neck was sawed, Wang Ling flowed northward to Guangyuan, and Empress Wu Zetian was born. Langzhong Panlong Mountain also left the place name of "Saw Mountain Pass". Since then, Yuan Tiangang resigned and settled in Langzhong because he admired Langzhong's geomantic omen. Two years later, Li followed Langzhong to find a "land of geomantic omen". They jointly built the Tiangong Courtyard and were buried in Tiangong Township in Langzhong after their death, with the two tombs facing each other.

It is understood that the name of Tiangongyuan has long been famous overseas. As early as 20 1 1, hundreds of overseas tourists flocked to the ancient city to pay a special tribute to the Feng Shui masters Yuan Tiangang and Li Feng Chun buried in Tiangong Township.

"The Palace Museum has always had the legend of' copper coins inserted with gold needles'," said He Lianjing, a commentator of the Palace Museum. At that time, Li Yuaner chose a Yin house and came to today's palace "Shengbaogang". Yuan Tiangang found a hole with copper coins and Li found a hole with a gold needle. They held a meeting to discuss this matter, and the gold needle was just inserted in the copper hole, so the palace was established here. After their death, they were buried in Guanjiashan and Wulitai, north and south of the Tiangong Courtyard, respectively, in the shape of double phoenix and rising sun, guarding the Tiangong Courtyard together.

In front of Li's tomb in Wulitai, the cemetery staff are often lighting lamps to pray. He said that in the local area, there have always been legends and songs about Li being buried in Wulitai. When I was a child, I went up the mountain to pick up burnt bricks, and all the money was buried below.
