Yanmenguan reaches Pingxingguan, Zijingguan and Daomaguan in the east, reaching the secluded rock and connecting the vast sea. West to Ning Wuguan Xuankou, Piantouguan to the Yellow River. Hengshan Mountain winds along the northern boundary of Daixian County at the top of the Inner Great Wall, connecting Yanmen Mountain, Mantou Mountain and Caoduo Mountain.
It borders Yanbei Plateau in the north and Ding Xin Basin in the south. Yanmenguan is located on the Gouzhuling in the north of Daizhou ancient city, on Yanmen Mountain, about 20 kilometers north of Daixian in the north of Shanxi Province. The "First Pass of Nine Tournaments" stands on the mountain and stands on the hook, which is one of the main central passages for geese to return from south to north.
The county where Yanmenguan is located belongs to a typical temperate continental climate, with mild and dry climate, large temperature difference between winter and summer, and heavy sandstorm in winter. Introduction of scenic spots
1, Yanmenguan has two gates, east and west, both of which are made of huge bricks, crossing the clouds with majestic bearing, and the gates are engraved with two plaques of "Natural Barrier" and "Geographical Location" respectively. On the east and west gates, there are towering towers, on which there is a group portrait of Yang Jiajiang. Outside the East Gate, a shrine was built for Li Mu. When Japan invaded China, the towers and the Temple of Mother Li were burned down.
2. On the west gate of Yanmenguan, there is a Yang Liulang Temple, and a stone tablet is embedded at the door, which says "Location". There is no roof in the north gate, and a stone tablet is embedded in the door. The book reads "Yanmenguan" in three big characters, and a pair of couplets are engraved on the left and right: "Three customs are unparalleled, and Jiuzhai respects the first customs." There are military camps in the north and Jingbian Temple in the east. There are a pair of stone lions, a vertical flagpole and a stone tablet in it. The inscription describes the great achievements of Li Mu, a famous soldier of Zhao, who led the army to fight the Huns many times. There is a training school in the southeast.
3. Yanmenguan, Ning Wuguan and Piantougou are the "outer three passes" of the Inner Great Wall. Here, the mountains are stacked, the cliffs are steep and the walls are densely covered.
