In suitable areas, pistachios should be built on hills, hillsides or flat land facing the sun and north, with deep soil layer, no stagnant water and little cold air.
The best planting time is from April to May. Dig a planting hole with the length, width and depth of 60cn×60cm×60cm, and apply sufficient organic fertilizer and phosphate fertilizer with the row spacing of 5cm×6cm. After planting, spray enough root water, properly cover the straw, keep the soil moist and avoid soil hardening.
Small trees can be interplanted with short-term crops to improve the soil. Timely intertillage weeding and conditional hole expansion and green pressing can promote root growth. Young trees grow mainly by nutrition, and quick-acting fertilizer is applied before each shoot to expand the crown.
Results The tree was mainly made of organic fertilizer, and the fruit quality was improved by applying phosphorus and potassium fertilizer once after harvest and topdressing once in spring and autumn. Small trees should be pruned to promote the growth of side branches. Clean the garden in winter, and cut off pests and dead branches.
Under normal circumstances, pistachios are thinned. If there are too many pistachios, they can be thinned appropriately to ensure high and stable yield.
