5.4.3 Toilets should not be directly arranged on the upper floors of bedrooms, living rooms (halls), kitchens and restaurants of lower-level households.
5.4.5 When the bathroom is arranged on the upper floor of this bedroom, living room (hall), kitchen and dining room, it should be waterproof and easy to maintain.
Second, it is very common for the waterproof layer of the bathroom floor to leak due to aging. At the same time, the problems such as pipeline noise and dripping caused by water pipe condensation are also very serious. In order to ensure that the life of the lower class residents is not disturbed and avoid the contradiction between the upper and lower class residents, it is stipulated that the bedroom, living room (hall), kitchen and dining room of the lower class residents shall not be directly equipped with toilets.
Three, in the design of this suite (such as duplex apartments, villas, townhouses), it is allowed to arrange the bathroom in the bedroom, living room (hall), kitchen or dining room of this suite. Although the use is beyond reproach and has no influence on other suites, it is easy to be damaged or leaked due to the arrangement of various equipment and pipes, so waterproof and easy maintenance measures are required to reduce or eliminate the adverse influence on the lower functional space. When conditions permit, the drainage design should adopt the same floor, and waterproof and sound insulation measures should be strengthened to improve the applicability and comfort of living.
