The correct step diagram of stair feng shui (what is the width and height of stairs)

How to calculate the size of the stairs? If you plan to install stairs at home, you must choose the stairs that suit your home. The most basic function of stairs in the family is to connect the upper and lower floors. Just like I usually go upstairs and downstairs, stairs play a role in communication. Therefore, when designing the size of stairs, we should determine the width of stairs, the size of steps, the number of steps and so on according to our own use requirements and actual situation. Specific calculation steps, personally recommend the following four steps.

Step (1): Calculate the steps of stair step (1). Like the stairs in our home, we can also easily calculate the height of the stairs. At this time, we are based on the height of the room. The height of the steps can be selected in turn. The height and width of the steps are indicated by the letters H and H respectively. The step size of stairs is high, and the width is h times b, so we can simply choose the number of stairs, that is, n = h/h, where the number of stairs is even in the family. If the result is odd or non-integer, you can adjust the height of the steps to continue the selection.

2. Give an example. For example, we first determine the size of the steps as 300× 150mm, that is, the width and height of the stair steps are 300mm and 150mm respectively. Then you can find the number of steps. The number of steps of stairs is 3000÷ 150=20 steps. Then every time I run the stairs, it's 40 steps.

Step (2): Calculate the horizontal projection length of stairs ①: Because we need to be able to determine the horizontal projection length of lobby stairs according to the number and width of steps. At this time, the horizontal projection length of stairs generally has a formula: l = (0.5n-1) B. In this way, the horizontal projection length of stairs can be simply calculated.

②: Example calculation. For example, we also take an indoor room 3 meters high for calculation. The number of steps is 20. Then we can also introduce some values calculated above. At this time, the projection length of stairs is l = (0.5n-1) b = (0.5× 20-1)× 300. The final result is 2700mm, which is 2.7 meters.

Step (3): Calculate the clear width of stairs ①: The clear width is the distance from left to right occupied by stairs. Because the stairs in our house are simple after all, but we have to go up and down the stairs. It is more complicated to calculate the net width of stairs in a building. Our main task is to test whether the capacity of stairs can meet the requirements.

②: It is very simple to calculate the clear width of the stairwell. For example, we still calculate according to a house with a height of 3000mm and a width of 2700 mm, so the net size of the stairwell bay at this time is equal to the bay minus the wall thickness, which is 2700mm-200mm, and the final result is 2500 mm, so the width of this flight is a = (a-c) ÷ 2 = (2500-/kloc-0.

Step (4): Determine the width of the stair rest platform ①: Because if you choose stairs according to their height, there is generally a middle rest platform. We call it intermediate platform and floor platform. There is a relationship between the horizontal projection length of stairs, that is, the width of the middle platform plus the floor platform, plus the horizontal projection length of stairs is equal to the closed length of stairwells. If it cannot be met, it is necessary to adjust the horizontal length of stairwells and stairs. At this time, it is generally selected that the platform width and the floor platform width are the same value.

②: For example, we assume that the width of the middle platform is the same as that of the floor platform. Then at this time, the net depth length of the stairwell is equal to the depth width minus the wall thickness, that is, 5400mm-200mm, and the result is 5200 mm. Then at this time, we can calculate the width of the stair rest platform as d = (b-2) ÷ 2 = (5200-2700) ÷ 2 =1250 mm.

Conclusion Through the above four steps, we can simply calculate the size of the stair tread and the horizontal projection length of the stair section, as well as the width of the staircase and the width of the stair rest platform. Adding these dimensions together, we can get the size of the complete stairs in the house. Therefore, if you want to calculate the size of stairs, you should first choose a rough step size, and then calculate the size of the whole hanging stairs separately according to the step size.
