But in the long years of nearly 2000 years, historians have been unable to answer, where is Yu Ji's tomb?
In fact, it is not that future generations have not found Yu Ji's tomb. Instead, I found several Yuji's Tomb in different geographical locations, and each place has corresponding legends that prove to be the real Yuji's Tomb, making it impossible to determine where Yuji's Tomb is.
At the end of the Qin dynasty more than 2000 years ago, there were soldiers everywhere. In a blink of an eye, the Qin dynasty was destroyed in the rebellion of farmers everywhere. Among the new political and military forces, Xiang Yu, the overlord of Chu, was a temporary hero and almost became the supreme ruler of China at that time. Unfortunately, due to his arrogance and incompetence, he changed from an advantage to a disadvantage in the political and military struggle, and was defeated by Liu Bang, a "weak person" who was not valued by him. Therefore, he and his wife Yu Ji staged the eternal tragedy Farewell My Concubine. Yu Ji saw that Xiang Yu was defeated, and the tide was gone. In order not to drag Xiang Yu down, she committed suicide on the way to break through.
Where is the princess buried after her death? At present, there are generally four kinds of opinions that have a relatively common influence.
The first statement is, of course, after the tragedy of Farewell My Concubine, because it is said that Yuji committed suicide in Dingyuan County, Anhui Province today. Therefore, this statement is: Dingyuan County is the place where Yu Ji died. Today, I can't find the tomb of Yuji in Dingyuan County. However, this statement is still circulating. Moreover, in Historical Records, the most important historical book in ancient China, the record of "the ambition of the country" was also quoted: Yuji's Tomb was six miles east of Dingyuan County, Haozhou. ...
The second view is that Yuji's Tomb is located in Lingbi County, Anhui Province. During the reign of Kanggan in Qing Dynasty, Lingbi local chronicles recorded: "Fifteen kilometers east of Lingbi, there is Yuji's Tomb at the junction with Sixian." In today's Lingbi, people can still see the tombstone of the legendary Yu Ji, which is also engraved with the word "Women". In addition, there are two couplets: "Why worry? Beauty has been unlucky since ancient times, and Ji Ye 'an has now become a green grave in the dusk. " In Desolation, I pointed out the significance of mourning for Yu Ji.
The ancients also questioned this statement many times and thought it was attached by future generations.
The third statement is also related to the legend of Farewell My Concubine. During the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty, a passage was recorded in the Annals of Hezhou in Hexian County, Anhui Province: After the beautiful concubine committed suicide, Xiang Yu wrapped her head around the horse's neck to break through and ride. After passing a mountain, the orchid originally inserted in Yusi's hair was lost. Therefore, later generations changed this mountain to "Flower Arrangement Mountain", and there is a "Flower Arrangement Temple" on the mountain, also called "Lufei Temple" or "Yuji Temple". To this day, on March 3 every year, local people will wear wild flowers to Yuji Temple in Flower Arrangement Mountain to pray for their children.
There is also a saying that Yu Ji's tomb is in Jiangpu County, Jiangsu Province. The corresponding legend is different from the plot of Farewell My Concubine.
The saying handed down here is: Xiang Yu broke through the note and fled to Orchid Township in Jiangpu County today. Han Xin stopped here again, so the two sides scuffled together, and concubine danced with double swords and fought behind Xiang Yu. Inadvertently, the magnolia flower hairpin on you er's head fell on the ridge beside the pond, and it was full of fragrant orchids from then on. Therefore, this pond is called "Orchid Pool" by later generations, and this place is also called "Orchid Town".
Xiang Yu took Yu Ji and others to break through the interception, only walked three or four kilometers, and camped on the spot next to a small bridge. At this time, Xiang Yu faced his own horror and was indignant. Seeing this, Yu Ji danced a sword to solve Xiang Yu's worries. Jumping and jumping, she said, "Your Majesty takes care of the dragon body, so I'll go first ..." Before she finished, she committed suicide. Xiang Yu got a fright and sobbed. At this point, the Han army came again. Xiang Yu had no choice but to bury Yu Ji in the field on the west side of the bridge and lead his own troops to break through. Later, people called this bridge "the bridge of infidelity".
"Lost Jiqiao" and "Orchid Town" are still two place names in Jiangpu County.
