General Rao Guohua, a martyr in Ziyang Township, was born in Baotai Town, Yanjiang District, Ziyang, and is one of the "Four Masters" in Ziyang. After martyrdom, he was buried under Panhaishan Mountain in Ganxigou, Zhangjiaba, Baotai Town, his hometown.
One morning in early summer, I made a special trip to visit the mausoleum of General Rao Guohua with admiration and reverence for my fellow villagers. Take bus No.6 from downtown Ziyang, get off at the end horse station, say hello, and then walk along the provincial road 106 for about 1 km, which is the third club in Xie Yi Village, Baotai Town. Here, two or three hundred meters of new rural streets have been built on both sides of the highway. Houses are clean and painted, showing a thriving new countryside and new atmosphere.
Guided by the villagers, they crossed the roadway between two families on the west side of the highway and descended the slope along a winding dirt road on the hillside. Surrounded by towering cypresses, lush trees, grass growing on the side of the path, and the rolling mountains in the distance are shrouded in the misty morning fog.
Corn and melon beans are planted in the terraced fields nearby, but it is hard to see anyone farming them. Only when I know the call occasionally does it break the lonely silence. When I was wandering on the path and didn't know the way, I heard someone talking behind the bushes. It turned out that an 80-year-old man was talking to an old lady in the field. After the guidance of the old man, I walked several times on the downhill slope and saw an independent hill at the foot of the western slope in Xiaowanli, which was only a hundred steps around and covered with miscellaneous trees. He climbed the hillside and came to the front of the east, only to find that General Rao Guohua's mausoleum was built on this hill, which was integrated with the hill, facing east from west, with a high position.
Up the nine steps along the stone steps, there is an altar of several square meters, surrounded by stone fences, and behind the altar is a mausoleum, about two meters high, made of stone. There is a big monument in front of the tomb, about two meters high. There is an inscription in the middle, which reads "Rao Guohua Martyrs' Tomb". On the left side of the monument, there is small print. Behavior: "Rao Guohua, a martyr of Zhangjiaba in Baotai Township, Ziyang County, was born on 18941February 7th. He used to be the division commander of Kuomintang Army 145. 1937 1 1 On 30th, the 18th Division fought against the Japanese invaders in Guangde County, Anhui Province died heroically. 1September 1985 10 Sichuan provincial people's government approved him as a martyr. On the right side of the monument, the inscription "Ziyang County People's Government was established in 19831February" is vertically engraved. In front of the tombstone, a short monument stands on the right. The top row is "Ziyang County Revolutionary Martyrs Building Protection Unit", the middle row is "Rao Guohua Martyrs Tomb", and the bottom two rows are "Ziyang County People's Government1announced on September 23rd, 989"/"Ziyang County Baotai Town People's Government1announced on June 6th, 990".
At that time, not long after Tomb-Sweeping Day, you could see that there was no sign of grave-sweeping, with lush vegetation and deserted environment, standing for a long time, remembering the earth-shattering achievements of the tomb owner and leaving a heroic image for the people in his hometown. Now that we are buried here, we can say that our souls have returned to our hometown. But after decades of vicissitudes, how many folks and the world know this history? Took a few photos and left the same way. I heard from an 80-year-old man I met before that the state funeral of General Rao Guohua was unprecedented. This is Rao's ancestral grave, called Crab Mountain. General Rao's tomb is buried under his mouth, and the feng shui is very good. During the Great Leap Forward, the mausoleum was destroyed, the coffin was dug up and disappeared. 1983 After the people's government renovated it, it was robbed again. After listening to it, I sighed even more. There are also such villains who are greedy for money and disregard moral, legal and justice!
Back to the Third Society of Xie Yi Village on the roadside, I chatted with local villagers and said that if a billboard was erected on the roadside, indicating that this place was "the location of the famous anti-Japanese martyr Rao Guohua General Cemetery" and introducing his life story, it might also bring business opportunities to the society and attract people of insight and patriots. Because today, the national morality has recovered, and the social atmosphere of patriotism and hero Tessa has been advocated again!
