Wenfeng Tower is built on the top of Tianjun Mountain, 20 kilometers southeast of the city. It is also a solid stone tower, but its shape is conical, with a flat top and protruding stone lotus petal edges. It is 23.5 meters high and was built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. In the Wanli year of the Ming Dynasty, the county magistrate of Jiexiu recorded in his records that he saw the green peaks and steep cliffs of Tianjun Mountain. In order to promote the literary style, benefit the people, and make Jiexiu produce more talents and good talents, he personally supervised the construction of this tower and named it "Wenfeng Tower" to encourage people to study diligently and strive for progress. Later generations saw it towering on the mountain peak, so they used to call it "Wenfeng Tower", which continues to this day.
