The geographical environment of Yanshan Lake Scenic Area

Yanshan Lake Scenic Area is located 25 kilometers southwest of Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province, between 118°50′~121°17′ east longitude and 40°25′~42°22′ north latitude, spanning from east to west. 165 kilometers, it is part of the Yamabibi Reservoir. The scenic area has a water surface of 23 square kilometers. It is strategically located and integrates dining

drinking and entertainment. It is an ideal place for people from all walks of life to visit and sightsee. Yanshan Lake Scenic Area belongs to the north temperate continental monsoon climate zone. Although the southeast is affected by the warm moisture of the ocean, the dry and cold air from the northern Mongolian Plateau often invades, forming a semi-dry, semi-humid and easy-to-dry area with four distinct seasons and hot rain. In the same season, there is sufficient sunshine, large daily temperature difference, and less precipitation. The annual average temperature is 5.4℃~8.7℃; the average annual sunshine hours are 2850~2950 hours; the annual precipitation is 450~580 mm; the frost-free period is 120~155 days. The spring and autumn are windy and prone to drought, with wind force generally level 2 to 3. In winter, northwest wind prevails and the wind force is stronger.
