Weifang People's Park in Shandong Province was founded in 195 1. It was originally a municipal park with closed management and mainly ornamental animals and plants. In order to meet the requirements of urban development and further improve the quality of people's cultural life, in 2004, the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government decided to transform the People's Park.
