Where are the tombs of Zhuge Liang and Liu Bowen, and on what basis?

It is well known that Zhuge Liang and Liu Bowen are both famous military strategists in the history of China. Among the people in China, there is also a saying that Zhuge Liang divided the world into three parts, unified the whole country and Liu Bowen. They lived in different times, one in the Three Kingdoms period and the other in the Ming Dynasty, so there is a saying that Zhuge Liang was a strategist in the former dynasty and Liu Bowen was a strategist in the later dynasty. Where are their graves after death? Come and have a look if you want to know.

Mianxian County is located in the south of Shaanxi Province, at the western end of Hanzhong Basin. There is a Dingjun Mountain in Mianxian County, which stretches for more than ten kilometers from east to west. Dingjun Mountain, the main peak, is the highest, with an altitude of 833 meters. It is famous for killing Xia, a general of Cao Wei, here by Huang Zhong, a general of Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms period. According to the biography of Three Kingdoms Shu Shu Zhuge Liang, Zhuge Liang was ordered to be buried in Dingjun Mountain, so the tomb of Wuhou was built under Dingjun Mountain.

Zhuge Liang's tomb, Wuhou's tomb, is at the foot of Dingjun Mountain in Mianxian County. In 234 AD, Zhuge Liang and Wei Sima Yi fought in Weinan, died in the former army and were buried in Dingjun Mountain. There is a wall around the tomb, covering an area of about 45,000 square meters. As soon as you enter the gate, you can see many buildings on the tombs and temples, many of which are from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and there is also a statue of Zhuge Liang in the hall.

In the small pavilion in front of the tomb, there is a stone tablet erected in the Qing Dynasty with the words "Wu Cemetery in Han Dynasty" engraved on it. The tomb is about 6 meters high and is surrounded by white marble guardrails. There are two tall and dense ancient laurels behind the tomb, like two military commanders guarding Zhuge Liang, nicknamed "protecting the tomb and protecting Gui". Strangely, a tall Huangguoshu actually grew on the grave. According to the cultural tradition in China, no trees will be planted on the tomb, so it is a bit strange.

Liu Ji, whose name is Bowen, was a founding hero of the Ming Dynasty. He is proficient in astronomy, art of war and geography, and is a wizard. It is said that he can know the events of the past 500 years. Liu Bowen is a native of Qingtian, Zhejiang Province, which is now wencheng county. "Elysium" records that "it was called seventy-two blessed places in ancient times, and Nantian was one of them". Liu Bowen died of illness in his hometown, so his tomb is also in wencheng county, Zhejiang Province, and one said that he settled in Suzhou.

His tomb is at the foot of Xiashan Mountain in the middle of Shipu Mountain, covering an area of 8 12 square meters. There is a stone tablet in front of the tomb, which reads "Liu Wencheng Cemetery, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty". Liu Bowen's tomb looks shabby without stones. It is said that before his death, his two sons wanted to build him a cemetery paved with stone horses, stone lions and stone generals, but he refused. He said, "There is grass on the grave, but with stones, how can the grass grow?"

Dingyuan, an ancient camellia village at the southern foot of Huqiu Mountain, covers an area of 100 mu, and is said to be the private residence of Liu Bowen. 1375, Liu Bowen died in Qingtian, Zhejiang Province, and there were many suspected graves after his death. Dingyuan is one of them. In front of the tomb, there is a monument erected by his son in the eighth year of Ming Hongwu, engraved with "Liu Jiwen's Tomb", with stone figurines, sheep and horses on both sides, which is more realistic.

It is unknown which of Liu Bowen's two tombs is true and which is false. It is rumored that his hometown is true, because there is an inscription on the national cultural relics protection unit there.
