Legend

There was an official under the Jade Emperor, Taibai Jinxing, who was responsible for drafting imperial edicts and issuing the post of Saint Yu. This Taibaijinxing's surname is Li and his given name is Changgeng. He is quick in writing and talented, and is a rare civil servant in the imperial court. But he was a heavy drinker and often got drunk.

One day, the Jade Emperor ordered Taibai Jinxing to issue an imperial edict to the world, requiring people to eat one meal every three days. Unexpectedly, after receiving the imperial edict, he saw that it was still early, so he ran to Guanghan Palace and played chess with Wu Gang while drinking.

The two of them didn't finish the game of chess, but they drank one bottle after another, and they both became a little drunk without knowing it. In his drunken state, Taibai Jinxing brushed off a chess piece on the chessboard with his sleeve.

Baizhao Mountain

The chess piece fell from the sky with a loud bang and landed thirty miles northwest of Anlu, turning into a thousand-foot-tall mountain. . Due to the huge impact when the chess piece landed, the ground was filled with rocks and smoke. So people called that place "the smoke shop".

The rolling rocks also shook the six local Wolong Ponds. Six divine dragons who had been practicing in the pond for thousands of years came out upon hearing the sound. One of them sneaked into the giant mountain and was delighted by its aura, so he entrenched himself in the mountain. Later, he met the True Martial God and was impressed by his fierceness. He gave him a sword to help him soar in the daytime.

The remaining five dragons stayed in place, guarding this place, far away from the fairy mountain. Later generations wanted to protect him, so they named the place Wulonggang.

And the loud "bang" sound of the chess piece falling into the lower world woke up most of Taibaijinxing's wine. He suddenly remembered that the Jade Emperor ordered him to convey the imperial edict to the world. He came to Nantianmen in a panic as if he was drunk, and said to the world: "The Jade Emperor has ordered that the people of the world can only eat three meals a day from now on, without mistake!".

Later, the Jade Emperor knew that Taibai Jinxing had misrepresented his purpose because of his greed for wine, so he demoted him to the mortal world and allowed him to be reincarnated into a family named Li in Jiangyou, Sichuan, and named him Li Bai.

One day, a wandering eminent monk came to the Anlu Smokehouse and saw that the mountain turned into a chess piece was illuminated by red light and purple air rose. He knew that it was created by the Taibai Venus star. It is named "Baizhao Mountain".

Later, Li Bai traveled with his sword and came to Baizhao Mountain. He suddenly realized something and said with emotion: "The name of the mountain is Baizhao, and I didn't know Li Bai was coming." So he lived on the mountain for ten years. Everyone calls Li Bai the "Poetry Immortal", thinking that he is a "immortal" because of his good poems. In fact, he is a "relegated immortal", that is, a deity who was demoted to the mortal world?
