Why haven’t the tombs of Qin Shihuang and Wu Zetian been opened yet?

Qin Shihuang built a mausoleum for himself in Lishan Mountain from the time he succeeded to the throne. It was not completed for thirty-six years until he died of illness during a tour. At its peak, 700,000 people were employed every year, and the project was huge. According to Sima Qian of the Western Han Dynasty, the Mausoleum of the First Emperor was dug to an extremely deep depth and passed through three springs, with mercury as the pool and gold, silver and jewels as the stars. Equipped with a strong anti-theft bow and a hard crossbow, it is extremely luxurious. More than two thousand years later, the Mausoleum of the First Emperor is 515 meters long from north to south and 500 meters wide from east to west, covering an area of ??56\25 square kilometers.

Qin Shihuang divided the underground palace into two parts: the underground palace and the surface sealing earth. If the sealing earth was dug out to provide shelter from wind, rain and snow all year round, a shed with a diameter of more than 500 meters would have to be built. It is said that the cost would be more than 50 billion and it would take about 150 years to complete. Remove the sealing earth from the surface of the mausoleum and remove the inside. Alas, I will never have such a blessing in my life.

Have you ever seen an emperor’s tomb that was dug by 400,000 troops and blown up by countless explosives, but miraculously still intact? To this day, some people still suspect that this mausoleum is protected by mysterious power!!!

Wu Zetian’s tomb is the joint tomb of Tang Gaozong Li Zhi and Wu Zetian. It is called Qianling. It was built on the top of a mountain and is large and imposing. It is majestic, with a large number of stone carvings on the surface and seventeen burial pits, where royal families and civil and military officials are buried. At present, five burial pits have been excavated and a large number of precious cultural relics have been unearthed.

\Qianling Mausoleum is the only tomb that has not been excavated among the 18 tombs of the Tang Dynasty. It contains two-thirds of the wealth of the Tang Dynasty, which experts estimate to be more than 500 tons. Qianling Mausoleum has been robbed and excavated on a large scale seventeen times throughout the ages. The first thing the Huang Dynasty did after they captured Chang'an was to lead an army of 400,000 to dig out Wu Zetian's tomb. Now Huang Chao Valley clearly exists. Huang Chao claimed to be an intellectual, but he didn't understand Feng Shui. The place he dug happened to be parallel to the Qianling Mausoleum.

Now we have found the entrance to the Qianling Mausoleum, which was made by digging a hole in the middle of the bluestone slab and casting it with molten iron. It is not a problem to open Qianling Mausoleum with modern scientific and technological conditions. The most difficult thing now is the protection of unearthed cultural relics. The cultural relics in the Qianling Mausoleum have been treasured underground for more than 1,300 years. There are a large number of precious silks, murals, books, woodware and lacquerware. These artifacts turn to ashes when exposed to air. Current technology cannot solve this problem. If it is lost, it cannot be demobilized and can only be left to future generations to solve.
