The Economic Scale of Wuzhou Port

Wuzhou firmly grasps the "dual-core" driving strategy put forward by Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the national strategic opportunity that the Pearl River-Xijiang Economic Belt is about to rise, adheres to the priority development of transportation, scientifically plans the functional orientation and layout of each operation area in the core port area with Changzhou Water Control Project as the node, and speeds up the construction of the "cross skeleton" of the golden waterway. Each industrial park has 2-3 dock operation areas as the guarantee, and each dock operation area has 2-3 industrial parks as the support.

According to reports, in 20 15, Wuzhou will take Changzhou Water Control Project as the node, forming an annual port layout with 20 million tons on the dam and 30 million tons under the dam. Wuzhou Port will gradually develop into a comprehensive hub port with container, groceries, machinery manufacturing and mining materials transportation as the mainstay, with the corresponding development of port-facing industry, modern logistics, business services and tourism, and become a leading modern inland river port in China.
