The WeChat avatar has not changed for decades because it is difficult to find a picture that I like and I don’t want to use my own photo.
I have always liked watercolor girl-style avatars, and recently I have been thinking about drawing a character avatar for myself. Look, the finished picture~
Now that I have decided to draw, the first thing to do is to start the draft... First I drew based on this picture of my own...
Drawing and drawing, I finished it. Two or three days...
It is really difficult to draw the facial features of a character. I can't do it...
Since you can't draw the facial features, then draw one The back view is ready, I chose a back view photo that I think looks good, and then started to draw ~
①, first of all, line drawing. First draw a cuboid, determine the general position, then determine the approximate positions of the hat, clothes, and hands, and finally refine it, and that's it. (I guess it’s because I draw more than before, and drafting is much easier now than before)
②, lay out the colors. First, lay out the rough base color. The color should be lighter, otherwise there will be no way to layer the colors later. The clothes are white, but they cannot be left empty. The pleats of the clothes must be expressed through dark colors.
③, details. Darken the color of the hat and draw the dark backlit areas to give it a three-dimensional feel. The place where the skirt and top meet, as well as the pleats of the skirt, must also be drawn carefully.
④, deal with the stripes of the hat, and then look at where there are any defects, change it, and the finished picture will come out ~
⑤, finally, you can use the filter to adjust it For color temperature, I adjusted one using a filter and scanned one using a scanning app.
Okay, the first WeChat avatar is done~
