Lan Kwai Fong, located in Yanqiao Village, Jiujiang, is actually a large family of ancient buildings. After years of baptism, there are only two houses and a gatehouse, Jiujiang Town.
A few banyan trees growing from the residual tiles cover the sky. They seem to be loyal customers, waiting for the return of their owners. Stopping in front of the gatehouse, the probe looked up, and the word "Lan Kwai Fong" on the banner stone stood out, telling passers-by a dusty history. Traditional China murals are painted on the walls under the eaves, and the inscription "Twenty Years of Guangxu" on the murals reveals that the house has experienced more than 100 years of wind and rain. The building in front of us is a typical Lingnan architectural style in the late Qing Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty. Brick carvings and gray carvings on the blue brick wall are well preserved. The most amazing thing is that a series of windows facing the roadside are made of granite, which is a traditional building in China, while the eaves of the windows have obvious western architectural style. Although it has been eroded by wind and rain, its pattern carving is still very delicate and colorful. Even without any repairs, it still retains its architectural art today.
