An ancient and mysterious nationality, Bo people, was found in Qiubei County, Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. They not only retained the ancient language and costumes, but also followed the ancient and magical customs. The descendants of Bo people in Qiubei County call themselves Guo Po and Bo people, while other ethnic groups call them Bahai and Bo people. In the identification of 1956, they were classified as the Bai Yi branch of the Yi people.
There are 6,894 people in 1557 households throughout Qiubei, mainly distributed in 20 village committees and 44 natural villages in 6 townships (towns) such as Guanzhai, Shede, Shuanglongying, Nijiao and Bark, among which 19 is Chunbo Village, which is mixed with other ethnic groups.
