Does Wuxi belong to Jiangnan?

Jiangsu and Zhejiang (including Shanghai) south of the Yangtze River are collectively called Jiangnan. Wuxi belongs to Jiangsu province, on the south bank of the Yangtze River, 20 kilometers away from the bank of the Yangtze River. It must be collectively called Jiangnan City. Hangzhou belongs to Zhejiang and is also within the scope of cities in the south of the Yangtze River.

Wuxi, called "Tin" for short, was called Orfila, Liangxi and Jingui in ancient times. It is a prefecture-level city in Jiangsu Province and is known as the "Pearl of Taihu Lake". Wuxi is located in the south of Jiangsu Province, in the Yangtze River Delta Plain, the hinterland of the south of the Yangtze River and the Taihu Lake Basin. It is bordered by the Yangtze River in the north, Taihu Lake in the south, Suzhou in the east and Changzhou in the west, forming the Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou metropolitan area.

It is an important city in the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration, and it is also the resident of Wuxi Joint Logistics Support Center of the Central Military Commission. The Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal passes through Wuxi. As a section of the Grand Canal in China, it has been included in the World Heritage List.
