After Zhuge Liang, many very clever advisers appeared in China, among which Liu Bowen, a think tank of Ming Taizu, was the most respected. Although his political position was not higher than Zhuge Liang's, he was able to die a fair death under the tyranny of Ming Taizu, which aroused many people's curiosity about him. Moreover, in the process of the establishment of the Ming Dynasty, his brilliant ideas were frequent, and people began to think that he was the embodiment of Zhuge Liang's wisdom, and there was even a saying that "Zhuge Liang unified Liu Bowen in three parts of the world".
Since then, there have been rumors, linking the two together. Liu Bowen thinks that his wit will surpass Zhuge Liang, and he cannot predict future generations. So he took people to find Zhuge Liang's grave to dig. Finally, the stone tablet left by Zhuge Liang was found in the excavation. With the words 10 written on it, "I didn't find anyone but Bai Wenman" alarmed Liu Bowen, who fell down in a hurry and couldn't continue digging. This rumor has spread more and more widely, and it has almost become a recognized historical fact, but is it true?
First, where is Zhuge Liang's grave.
This legend has a very important premise, that is, Liu Bowen must find Zhuge Liang's grave before he can explore. Liu Bowen discovered Zhuge Liang's tomb because where it was, which is an unsolved mystery in folklore.
In folklore, Zhuge Liang calculated that Wu Changyuan's life was running out. He wanted to live for himself for several years through the seven-star lamp, but Wei Yan ruined it. Zhuge Liang can only start preparing for his own funeral. He found a suitable place to bury his bones, but he didn't want to make too much noise. He found four strong men and said that after his death, he continued to walk south with his coffin on his back until the rope on his luggage rotted and buried the coffin there.
After Zhuge Liang's death, the four strong men followed Zhuge Liang's orders and walked south for two nights. As a result, the rope showed no signs of decay. The four people thought it was too difficult to go on like this, and decided to bury Zhuge Liang's coffin in the local area and go back to Chengdu to tell Zhou that Zhuge Liang's reputation had been completed.
After listening to their report, Liu Chan was very skeptical. Because the rope fixing the pipe is very strong, it should last for more than two days. He asked four of them again. This time they confided the truth to Liu Chan. Liu Chan was very angry and ordered the four men to be killed immediately. But then he remembered that he forgot to ask Zhuge Guanliang's position, but it was too late. The four men have been killed, and Liu Chan has to find someone, but in vain. There is another legend about Zhuge Liang's grave. Zhuge Liang found nine people to bury himself in order to hide the location of his grave. Among them are eight farmers and a chef. But Zhuge Liang only prepared eight taels of silver for them.
These nine people really had an argument. After eight farmers negotiated to kill the chef, each shared one or two people. The cook wanted to poison the food and keep the money for himself. Finally, after the cook was poisoned by the farmer, eight people finished the food prepared by the cook. The location of the graves of Wu Hao and Zhuge Liang has also become a permanent secret.
Under the rendering of this folk story, the reason why Zhuge Liang's grave is unknown is to prevent future generations from invading, and Liu Bowen can find his grave. Nature has made great achievements through magical cemeteries.
But these two stories actually can't stand scrutiny. It is clear that Zhuge Liang was buried in Zhengjunshan in Hanzhong area after his death. At present, there is Zhuge Liang's Wuhou Temple at the foot of Zheng Jun Mountain. This experience is still intact after thousands of years. Obviously, the whereabouts of the claim in the story is not clear.
Some people say that Wuhou Temple is just Zhuge Liang's different gun, but it has no factual basis and is a bit absurd. First of all, after Zhuge Liang's death, the ministers of Shu held a large-scale memorial service for Zhuge Liang. If Zhuge Liang's body really disappeared, this behavior would be somewhat embarrassing.
Moreover, since its completion, Wuhou Temple has been highly valued by Shu and the subsequent government. There are not only lush cypress trees, but also Zhuge Liang's temple. This degree of attention is enough to prove that Wuhou Temple at the foot of Zheng Junshan is Zhuge Liang's grave.
More importantly, the location of Wuhou Temple is indeed a feng shui resort. It is not only surrounded by nine hills of Zheng Junshan and Wadi Mountain, but also surrounded by more streams, which are divided into three layers. This is also called "three Xi 'an". This kind of terrain is very rare, which shows that Zhuge Liang really chose a land of geomantic omen for himself.
Second, Liu Bowen will not tamper with Wuhou Temple.
According to the above analysis, the tomb of Wuhou should become the actual tomb of Zhuge Liang. So, Liu Bowen found Zhuge Liang's tomb, but he broke it himself. However, it is also possible for Liu Bowen to encounter the organs and inscriptions of graves, but this view cannot stand scrutiny like the story above.
First of all, after the completion of Wuhou Temple, Chinese and Korean people held large-scale activities. The local people are in awe of Zhuge Liang, and his grave is well protected. Coupled with Zhuge Liang's loyalty to Liu Bei, he became the representative of loyal ministers in later generations. After the Emperor Wu of Jin Dynasty, he was regarded as a positive model of the Minister of Education by emperors of many dynasties. Later rulers also strengthened and repaired Wuhou Temple, so it is very appropriate to protect Wuhou Temple. In the Ming Dynasty, Wuhou Temple was also defended. It can be seen that one of the two stone tablets in front of Wuhou Temple Cemetery was the condition for serving as Ancha Temple in Shaanxi in the late Ming Dynasty, and the Ming government was also very respectful to Zhuge Liang.
So in such an atmosphere of public opinion, it is absolutely impossible for Liu Bowen to dig Zhuge Liang's grave in broad daylight. This will definitely be criticized by people nearby. At this time, it was pointed out that Liu Bowen, as a member of the Ming Dynasty, could control the scene and not let the people know about it, but judging from Liu Bowen's character and personality, this possibility did not exist.
As a counselor of Zhu Yuanzhang, Liu Bowen was a child prodigy, and Zhu Yuanzhang also made many contributions in the process of pacifying the world. Like Liu Bowen and Zhuge Liang, he also made in-depth research on five lines of gossip and other witchcraft. Therefore, some people advocate to compete with Liu Bowen's elder Zhuge Liang, who is very talented. This is the fundamental reason why he wants to explore Zhuge Liang's tomb.
Of course, people always have a heart to prove themselves. Su Zairen and Liu Bowen naturally want to compete with Zhuge Liang. However, as an important official of the Ming Dynasty, Liu's behavior must be bound by the laws of the Ming Dynasty, and he could not do whatever he wanted. There is no need to dig a fairy grave, which violates morality and law.
On the other hand, there are some differences between Liu Bowen in history and the images described in folk stories. In folktales, Liu Bowen is familiar with the past and the present, and can predict the future, so he also has a bohemian character, and naturally acts with the arrogance of genius.
But in history, Liu Bowen is a very typical Confucian tattoo image. At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, he became an official. Later, he saw the darkness of the Yuan government, but he didn't want to go along with his colleagues, so he resigned and went home.
After the uprising of Zhu Yuanzhang, Liu Ji joined his camp. Although Yang Shi participated in the military action plan after the surrender of Chen Yu, his most important contribution actually lies in the legal system construction in the Ming Dynasty. Liu Bowen persuaded Zhu Yuanzhang to adopt more lenient laws many times during the period of Zhu Yuanzhang or Wu Wang, and won the support of the common people.
After the founding of the Ming Dynasty, Liu Bowen was also responsible for supervising the victory of officials. During his tenure, Liu Bowen didn't cheat and didn't fear power for the sake of official integrity. Li's confidant in the early Ming Dynasty broke the law. Liu Bowen advised him to open the door, but Liu Bowen did not move and finally executed Bing Lin. This fully reflects Liu Bowen's integrity.
Yibin, in the west of the city, is a greedy criminal, sitting in a long fast and being imprisoned. If you don't listen to the foundation, you can repay it by flying. A dog's teeth beg for rain, that is, cutting. Disobeying the captain.
How can a scholar who has such high moral requirements for himself dig Zhuge Liang's grave for a temporary success? Describing Liu as just to compete with Zhuge Liang and hinder pure speculation is undoubtedly a gentleman's belly with a villain's heart.
Third, the connection between Liu Bowen and Zhuge Liang.
But in addition to this rumor, Zhuge Liang is often associated with Liu Bowen, and even put forward that Liu Bowen is the reincarnation of Zhuge Liang, which may contain the yearning and respect for the upright and wise.
In the previous explanation, we can easily see that when Liu Bowen was an official in the Ming Dynasty, he was upright and took the initiative to win favorable policies for the people, which prompted Zhu Yuanzhang to make many decisions to pardon criminals. A good official who can bring benefits to the people.
At the same time, when Zhuge Liang became prime minister, in order to support the Guihan War, he increased the taxes of ordinary people. However, in political work, he can appoint sages impartially, strictly enforce laws and regulations, and ensure the orderly life of the people, which is also the best example of loyal ministers.
It can be seen that these two people have long been praised by the people, and even the mythical officials are actually good officials who attach importance to the interests of the people. So ordinary people will think that there is a deep connection between them and want to connect them. In the story of the Three Kingdoms, Zhuge Liang did not lose his enthusiasm in the end, and pinned his life on Wu Changyuan. Ordinary people have a natural resistance to this tragic ending.
It is undoubtedly a perfect ending for Liu Bowen to assist Zhu Yuanzhang in successfully defeating many insurgents, expelling Mongolian rulers and establishing a unified dynasty, so he should believe that Liu Bowen is the reincarnation of Zhuge Liang. In this way, Zhuge Wuhou can alleviate the regrets in his heart.
More importantly, in China's feudal ancient society, the officials around the common people were often traditional literati. They may have low moral cultivation and cultural level, but their thoughts were too conservative and lacked the ability to adapt flexibly, which gave the common people a bad impression.
Both Liu Bowen and Zhuge Liang dabbled in hundreds of schools, especially astronomy. Zhuge Liang predicted the trend of major events by watching the stars, which I believe everyone is familiar with. At the same time, Liu Bowen won the victory over the suggestion and took charge of the astronomical calendar after the suggestion, which was quite capable, obviously different from those Ming officials who took the official career after eight weeks' weighing. They are wiser and closer to the people.
Therefore, Liu Bowen not only meets the requirements of honesty, but also looks much smarter than other Ming officials, so he is naturally loved by ordinary people and has become a hero in countless folklore. However, exploring the plot of Wuhou Temple for Liu Bowen can strengthen the relationship between them, but it is far-fetched, and the rumor that Liu Bowen has a moral stain can't be advocated in the end.
Fourth, the conclusion.
Zhuge Liang and Liu Bowen were famous counselors in the ancient history of China. Since ancient times, they have been regarded as a symbol of wisdom by ordinary people. In order to help Zhuge Liang finish his unfinished regrets, people regarded Liu Bowen as the reincarnation of Zhuge Liang and became the brain trust of Datong Dynasty. Under such public opinion, Liu Bowen and Zhuge Liang also compiled many short stories, among which Liu Bowen's story of robbing Wuhou Temple is the most famous, but its authenticity can't stand scrutiny.
First of all, the Wuhou Temple in Zhengjunshan area is the real burial place of Zhuge Liang, which was not first discovered by Liu Bowen. There is not only excellent geomantic omen here, but also the attention of rulers of feudal dynasties. During the reign of Yu Sun, people were asked to make sacrifices in front of the tomb of Wuhou, and led hundreds of officials to make sacrifices many times, which proved its authenticity.
On the other hand, Liu Bowen was an important official of the Ming Dynasty. He is a magical mountain of artifacts, but he ignores secular etiquette. On the contrary, he was a very famous gentleman in the early Ming Dynasty. It is absolutely impossible for a person with such high moral cultivation to dig a grave, so this sentence must be a rumor.
