Who are the great-grandfathers of Lu Xun and Sun Yat-sen?

(1) Zhou Fuqing, Lu Xun's grandfather, became a scholar, was made an academician and was a magistrate. According to his descendants, Zhou Fuqing was not glib, flattering and looked down on the governor who was not from the imperial examination. He was born ill-fated. He was dismissed after only eight years as an official. But he was still unwilling, sold part of the land, spent money to buy an official and went to Beijing as a backup. Finally, the vacancy was filled. Nine old ladies died, and Lu Xun's grandfather Ding You went home. This year, the subject one exam was officially opened. Entrusted by relatives and friends, he sent twelve thousand silver tickets to the examiner. The crime happened because the servant who sent the money couldn't handle things and shouted outside the door. Zhou Fuqing was publicly tried and imprisoned for accepting bribes. Since then, the Zhou family has been devastated. From Zhou Wei to Zhou Fuqing, five generations live under one roof, which is really an old saying of China: Five generations are exhausted, and seven generations are beheaded.

(2) Sun Yat-sen's great grandfather Sun Henghui, grandfather Sun Jingxian, father Sun Dacheng, and Sun Yat-sen himself and their descendants were all born in Cuiheng Village, Xiangshan County. Sun Henghui, Sun Yat-sen's great grandfather, has more than ten acres of land and his family is well-off. Grandfather Sun Jingxian inherited his father's business and made a living by farming. Later, because he was convinced of Feng Shui, he became fascinated by the magician's Feng Shui theory. He was addicted to mountain climbing and sightseeing, and hardly cultivated land, which led to his family's decline and became a tenant farmer. Sun Dacheng, the father of Sun Yat-sen, comes from a very poor family. When Sun Dacheng 16 years old, he left his hometown to work in Macau. He studied as a tailor, worked as a shoemaker and worked as an apprentice for three years before graduation. His life is as hard as cattle and horses. After starting as a shoemaker in a Portuguese shoe store in Banzhangtang Street, Macau, the monthly salary was only four yuan, so it was difficult to support the family, so I never got married until I was 33 years old (that is, 1845). I returned to Cuiheng Village and married Yang Shenghui's daughter. Sun Yat-sen had two uncles, both of whom went abroad to make a living because they were poor and unable to support their families. Unfortunately, both of them died overseas.
