Yuhong Pagoda, also known as the White Pagoda, is located in Shuixi Taxia Village, Zhanggong District. It was built by Xie Jie, the imperial envoy of Ganzhou City during the Wanli Period of the Ming Dynasty (1573-1620). It is a typical Feng Shui landscape tower because of the old Yuhong Bridge under the tower. It got its name because the pagoda body is powdered with white ash, so it is commonly called the White Pagoda. Yuhong Pagoda is a brick-walled wooden building with folded walls to climb up. It is a hexagonal nine-story pavilion-style tower, 42 meters high. The base is a Xumizuo made of red strips of stone, with overlapping eaves. The bottom floor has doors in three directions and a leaning Columns, beams and other imitation wood components. It is a provincial cultural relic protection unit. In May 1992, an extra large iron ingot weighing 76.5 kilograms was unearthed from the underground palace of Yuhong Pagoda. The iron ingot is the treasure of Yuhong Pagoda, with the four characters "Double-Liu Pillar" inscribed on it. , is now collected by Ganzhou Museum and is a national first-class cultural relic.
