Introduction:
The national 5A tourist scenic spot is currently the highest selection standard among domestic tourist scenic spots. Because of its strictness, both software and hardware facilities are quite strict. , so as of now, there are only 250 5A-level tourist attractions in our country. If you see this number at first glance, some people may think that this number is quite a lot, or even think that it is quite a lot. In fact, if we do an average analysis, we will know how rare the national 5A tourist attractions are. Among the 34 provincial-level administrative regions in the country, if distributed equally, each provincial-level administrative region has less than 8. Then, these less than 8 national 5A-level tourist attractions are allocated to dozens of cities in the province. The vast majority of cities do not even have a national 5A-level tourist attraction.
I am a native of Anhui. In fact, I only know about the national 5A tourist attractions in Anhui Province, Huangshan Scenic Area, which is "the most amazing mountain in the world" and "one of the four famous Buddhist mountains in China". Jiuhua Mountain Scenic Area, others are not very familiar. Until the latest announcement that Wanfo Lake Scenic Area in Lu'an City is a national 5A-level tourist scenic spot, I wanted to check how many national 5A-level tourist scenic spots there are in Anhui Province.
As of March 2020, there are only 11 national 5A-level tourist scenic spots in Anhui Province. They are Xidi Hongcun, Huangshan Scenic Area, Ancient Huizhou Cultural Tourism Area, Tiantangzhai Tourist Area, Wanfo Lake Scenic Area, Jiuhua Mountain Scenic Area, Tianzhu Mountain Scenic Area, Longchuan Scenic Area, Bali River Scenic Area, Wuhu Fangte Tourist Area and Sanhe Ancient Town Scenic Area.
There are 16 prefecture-level cities in Anhui. On average, each city has less than one national 5A-level tourist scenic spot. However, Huangshan City has 3 national 5A-level tourist scenic spots, and each city has 3 national 5A-level tourist scenic spots. Everywhere is a scenic spot famous at home and abroad. For Huangshan City, the one we are most familiar with is undoubtedly the "No. 1 Wonderful Mountain in the World" Huangshan, which is internationally renowned for both its scenery and reputation. In addition to the natural mountain scenery of Huangshan Scenic Area, Huangshan City also has a profound historical and cultural heritage. It is the birthplace of Hui culture, one of China's three major regional cultures, and the hometown of Hui merchants. It is rich in tourism resources and has many historical attractions. It is among the first batch of national outstanding tourist cities in my country.
In addition to Huangshan, which is famous for its four wonders: "strange pines, strange rocks, sea of ??clouds, and hot springs", which are the other two national 5A tourist scenic spots in Huangshan? The first is the familiar Huizhou ancient villages of Xidi and Hongcun located in Yixian County, Anhui Province, eastern China. Xidi, with a history of more than 950 years, has well preserved the typical ancient village style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and is known as the "living ancient residential museum". Hongcun was founded in 1131 AD and has 137 ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is known as the "countryside in Chinese paintings". The first Oscar-winning Chinese-language film "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" introduced us to the ancient villages in southern Anhui represented by Xidi Hongcun. It also made Xidi Village and Hongcun international, and was included in the World Cultural Heritage List. In 2011, it was updated It is rated as a national 5A tourist attraction.
The youngest national 5A-level tourist attraction in Huangshan City is the Ancient Huizhou Cultural Tourism Area. It won the honorary title of "National AAAAA-level tourist attraction" in 2014. It is a gathering place of ancient city life, ancestral temple culture, and archways. It is an ancient Huizhou cultural tourism area with Huizhou merchant culture, village culture and residential culture. In terms of name, it is an independent scenic spot, but when broken down, it is composed of five parts, namely Huizhou Ancient City, Archway Group, Baojia Garden, Qiankou Houses, Chengkan, and Tangmo Ancient Village. With two thousand years of historical accumulation, It brings together the representative cultural heritage of ancient Huizhou such as ancient villages, ancient cities, official offices, residential buildings, archways, Hui-style gardens and Feng Shui culture, and comprehensively presents Huizhou culture, one of the three major regional cultures in China.
