Taihang stone depends on the degree of silicification. Similar to highly silicified agate, it is not hard water, otherwise it is easy to be hard water with high calcium carbonate content.
There are many kinds of stones in Taihang Mountain: Melaleuca stone, Taihu stone, Lingbi stone, aragonite, stalactite, argillaceous stone, water stone, model tree stone, inkstone, ginger stone, nodule stone and so on. Fossils of animals and plants include trilobites, algae, corals, mammoths and ferns. There are mineral crystals and minerals such as garnet, calcite, crystal and epidote.
